Title: Milos' Seminar
Post by: chaos on May 22, 2009, 07:06:29 PM
Milos has agreed to do a seminar on June 27th at Koloseum Gym!!!!!

I'd like to get a general idea of who is really going to show up, so if you will definitely make it put your name up here!

I believe he will be open to any and all questions, so this could make for some interesting topics!!!

Who's in?? :D

OK, I am going to have people ask questions in this thread that can't make it to the seminar......

There might be a snowballs chance in hell that I can actually make the 5hr drive down south, if that's the case I'll let ya know Chaos.
But if not, I'm curious if Milos ALWAYS does Giant Sets, or if he backs off occasionally (and if so, how often/how long)? I guess I'm asking does he periodize his training and/or if there is a mapped out plan rather than walking in the gym saying "I feel like doing 25 sets of legs, and 20 of them will be tri-sets and the rest a Giant Set...."

What is the POINT of doing GIANT SETS in a first place?

To go truly ALL OUT, 100% (in true sense of that word...as percentages are being thrown 'oh-so easy'...like I give 110% every time...I warm up... ::)...)...and with careful choice of consecutive exercises with particular attention on rep range, fast/slow twitch specific protocols, range of motion, angles, variety of stances or grips, emphasis on eccentric/concentric/static contractions...controlli ng the weight with ability to switch from using help (assistance) of the "secondary movers" (muscle fibers of agonistic/antagonistic surrounding muscle groups directly or indirectly involved in any given movement of known bodybuilding exercises) to excluding "secondary movers" by complete isolation of primary movers (exact muscle /or part of/ that muscle group/ that we are trying to stimulate) and voluntary "shut-off" of supporting or assisting muscle groups normally involved in particular exercise (a conscientious effort to severely reduce assistance of "secondary" muscle groups or practically and almost completely eliminate  using anything but muscle contractions of ONLY targeting muscle fibers...)...etc...etc

The question is really - DO YOU WANT TO COMPETE - OR WIN...?
Just do it - or do the best possible job...

Try your best...or actually DO YOUR BEST....

EVERY

SINGLE

TIME

YOU

TRAIN

OF COURSE! ;)

Hey guys - I must ask if ANYONE actually is planning to come?
I've been just too busy to be here on board for a while and I have no idea what is really going on...

Did anyone proposed me by now?

Well, marriage proposal (gh13?...  :-* Somebody... ??? Anyone?)
Should I dress up?

Did anyone nominated me for an IFBB office (or as a member of a society)....CHAIRMAN...?

There is a list in the first post, only a handful of people have said they were going to come. Most people claim to live too far away to make it.  I'm trying to get some people to post their questions here so I can get answers for them.

No reason, no one that was there uses.

A ton of info was shared, alot to process for sure.

Milos spent several hours with us and we all appreciate the effort and time he took to talk to us.

When I get a chance I will try to put up some of the info that was shared.

Very interesting!!

Absolutely... I would have done so sooner, but have had quite a busy weekend.

First, I'd really like to thank Milos for sitting and talking with us... Thank you Milos, I really appreciate it.

Milos is absolutely one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to human physiology and and anatomy... He really knows what he's talking about. His Office is an astounding library of literature about health, nutrition, anatomy and physiology.

He's also quite a funny guy... Thanks for the stories Milos.

Now... As far as shared knowledge is concerned, I will say this. Milos didn't hold back... He talked about training, nutrition, and supplementation. His philosophy on all of the topics along with what it REALLY takes to be a professional bodybuilder.

He gave us so many things to think about and he really went in depth.

As a little snippet... Let's talk about training for a second, as I'm still putting my notes down into a better format for my use, but one of the things he talked about (and was asked in the thread) was Giant Sets.

Milos talked at length about what his Giant sets are all about... They're not just doing light weights for 30 reps or whatever... It's also varying the angles, sometimes changing them every single rep during the set to achieve as I'm sure he would agree, maximum efficiency.

Milos, I'm telling you right now... I want to achieve that 100 percent. I'll email you.

Thanks you.

You guys that missed it, missed out on what may have been the single coolest thing any IFBB pro has ever done... So much more than just shaking hands... I feel like I made a friend.

As a matter of fact, his entire family and staff really are a fantastic group of people... They are all amazing.

I just did segment on Alex Ardenti's "GET BIG, GET CUT" DVD.., and some of the things I talked about is now on tape...so hopefully - guys that didn't hear me so far would have a chance when DVD gets out...And I can say with great confidence - many of you will change the way you think about training when you consider what goes into designing the best possible training/diet/supp-protocols...etc - to achieve THE best results in shortest possible time...guaranteed...
