i remember when Lee won the NPC nationals ( first man ever i think?). they said he'd been training for 4 and a half years. i sat there thinking, 'man, i've been training longer than that and i look like shit!!'

Ya when I first started working out in high school Lee Haney was motivating for me. He was winning his last Olympia against Dorian Yates when i started. Used to watch that show he had on ESPN whenever I could catch it.

to me haneys best years were his first year 84, and his last year 91,for good reasons he probably trained harder those years.

was weak in the arms and calves . but great anyway . arnold was not perfect either ..samir should have won more than once . he didnt take it seriously enough maybe

wasn't really that weak in those parts, didn't use synthol or site injections like they do now.
