Title: Last 3 Movies You Watched
Post by: The Ugly on June 09, 2009, 01:38:18 PM
Me -

The Prestige: 10. Gets better every time. Christopher Nolan hasn't made a bad film.

The Machinist: 10. Dark, twisted mindfuck. Perfect.

The Unforgiven: 10. Best western ever made. Done.

Donnie Brasco:  2nd or 3rd time.  Good show.

Great movie but very "dark".even the filming is in low light.a lot of good actors in it.
...one of those movies you gotta watch more than once.

Ha! Peter Sellers was brilliant:

"I'm sorry, too, Dmitri. I'm very sorry. All right, you're sorrier than I am, but I am sorry as well. I am as sorry as you are, Dmitri! Don't say that you're more sorry than I am, because I'm capable of being just as sorry as you are."

The Cleaner.  Samuel L. Jackson.  Decent.

Nothing But the Truth.  A spin on Valerie Plame.  Decent.  Above average acting.

Night at the Museum - Smithsonian.  Awful.  Very few laugh out loud moments.

Martyrs: 6-7ish. Dark and twisted, but quite far-fetched, confusing, and foreign.

Let the Right One In: 9. New take on the vampire genre with some really cool rewind moments.

Burn After Reading: 8. Subpar for the Coens, but still pretty f'n good. Pitt and Malkovich are hilarious.

Yep, i'll watch that for the second time soon as well.

I love the Batman Begins, after watching it you want to pack your bags, walk to the Himalaya and start the Ninja training!!! Dark Knight focuses more on the Joker.

I watched it on the plane, the good side is that i didn't waste time on it, the bad side was i couldn't even crack one off to Jessica Alba, that was the only thing you could have gotten out of the movie.

Doubt.

That was a pretty decent movie.

Grand Torino was good too although the kids acting was a little off on a few lines.

Did not enjoy it at all. Thought it was stupid. I was actually happy when Brad Pitt was shot.
For me to find joy in someone putting a bullet between Brad Pitts eyes, ...you know I thought it stunk.  >:(
