What is going on w/the rain there? Are you alright?

I'm lucky i live on a bit of a hill. My neighbors are flooded out. Two cars on my street were submerged and the lots across my street were totally flooded. Nothing happened to my house, lickily. It got bad here, tons of people without power/water etc. But unlike katrina us southerners are civilized and didn't riot and steal. I think that 7 people are confirmed dead and not sure how many are missing. Parts of the state look like lakes.
