This pic of Arnie explains why he is the best of all time. Simply perfect. AND this is 35 years ago!!!!!

And he was 27/28. Still building...

i think that Arnold's advantage was that he spent many years training naturally and started at a young age. That, plus he continued to train whilst off gear and had definite cycles.
So he had a solid foundation, trained his brain to understand what hard training actually was, and that gains werent guaranteed or easily got. So when he went "on" his body responded well, his intensity was high, and expectations realistic.
All that together probably makes him, and others of his era, better bodybuilders- which is why the drug sponges of today still look upon him in awe. Granted he had great genetics also.
I wonder how many out there these days have good genes, started at 14 or 15, trained naturally for 3-4 years, then do actual cycles?...i'd guess very few.

Holy shit! Look at this picture of Arnold that Mr Magoo has in his sig. Unbelivable.

You can't be serious. Arnold started juicing at a very young age. Plus I doubt he trained drug free as an adult. Probably took a total break judging from the off season pictures where he's real skinny. Just stayed lean, which is ideal.

Born in 1947. He was 27. He was also so ahead of his time. Just imagine if he would have continued to take competition seriously. What would he have looked like by the 1980's? He would have DWARFED Haney. I'm sure we would have seen a man who weighed 260 pounds on stage, with 23+ arms and a 60" chest and a 34" waist. He never really attained his full potential.

could someone try to photoshop any Arnold pic respecting the description of Danimal77? It would be very interesting...
