Shortly before he disappeared, I asked Karl to share on here a hilarious story about the time his old man was working down south for “Cowboy” Bill Watts.
He told me that, after receiving my message, he mentioned the story to his Dad & they both laughed their asses off because it'd been a while since either of them had recalled it.
Literally a few days after telling me he’d post it when he got the chance, he vanished.
It is certainly one of the funniest industry stories I’ve ever heard, and I really hope Karl returns to share it.

Good stuff, it's good to see the Wrestling board given a bit more standing in the world of GetBig. This is really the only board I visit anymore, as the rest is full of pointless arguments, and constant trolling, whereas down here we have good posters taking part in interesting discussions. Congrats to everyone involved!

Well, since Karl was going to share it anyway, and there’s no telling when he’ll be back…
Right before his match one night, Karl Sr. took a Hershey Bar out of its rapper and rubbed it between his hands to get it real warm & soft.
He then dropped it down the back of his trunks.
During the match, he whispered to his opponent to give him an ass-bump.
Next, Kox starts selling really funny - squirming about; very comical.
Finally, he gets a confused/concerned look on his face, reaches down the ass side of his trunks to feel around, and pulls out this brown hand!
Well, it was just chocolate, but since the people just saw him take an atomic drop (and most people don‘t have melted candy bars in their underwear) people thought he’d shit himself.
Now comes the good part.
People’s reaction to the stained hand was already good, but then Kox raises the hand to his face to “study it” closer.
He smells it.
Then, a few seconds later, he tastes it - he actually licked the mess, which threw people into hysterics.
Kox thought it was hilarious and a good heat builder.
Watts fired him on the spot.

I can't be arsed with the G&O anymore, it's just the same retards starting the same stupid shit all the time. It's really gone downhill since I first came here.

While it has gotten worse lately, more people grow tired of it, and it’s next to impossible to have an intelligent conversation regarding anything…the G&O is - at least of this writing - still Getbig’s bread & butter.
It’s the board that generates the most traffic and allows Ron to do what he does here.
Every single board I’ve visited from the top down seems to have a substantially small fraction of regular posters by comparison - even the Political board with it’s 63,218,179 topics only has about ten regular contributors, and several of those are gimmicks.
However, the serious boards are golden: training, nutrition, history, religion, us…
Getbig is like the circus in the sense that there’s something for everyone.

I reckon a lot of people follow the same general migration patterns. When they first join, they wander around the G&O bullshitting for a while. Then they either leave, or find themselves a little area where things are a bit more sensible, and make that their main board. Of course you've got the exceptions to that, the ones who need the drama and attention of the G&O to make themselves feel better... ;D
