I'm thinking real estate is a good investment right now compared to stocks.  This dude is smart.
Im no financial expert, but stocks go up, stocks go down...some of the people that invested in the 60s and 70s, are sitting pretty right about now...
Real estate, always good, they are making anymore land.

He's clearly one of the smart ones.  He gave all his money to a jewish guy to manage and so he still has some.

Possibly, but, when I posted the Willy D (the idiot) thread, people were basing it on him being black...but, in actuality, most criminals are quite stupid, regardless of race, that's why they are criminals...

But, everytime a b-ball star lost his money thread is started it's "Oh, well what do you expect?"
whereas there are many a basketball star that have kept their money, due to business savviness, and being "relatively" frugal.
Makes sense. Leave the money in place for a long time.
I got people in my family like that, but it comes to the point, you can't take it with you....some people are ahem, frugal, that buying new clothes or cars doesn't make sense unless they are falling apart...yet, they are worth millions.

Real estate is far from a sure thing... We just checked out houses in Maui that sold for 1.3 mil in 2008 and now go for 750k if they can find a buyer.

Vegas has dropped even more.

Good for him.  Nice to hear about an athlete who is a good steward.  Rare, unfortunately.
