Yes, you read that right! Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates and Mr. Olympai Ronnie Coleman will both be back on stage!
There's new master's invitational IFBB pro show in Miami in 2011 called the IFBB World Masters Championship and it's taking place December 10, 2011 (see http://www.jarkasgym.com). The contest promoter is a women named "Jarka" who is a legend in the contest promotion genre.
At the 2010 IFBB Ft. Lauderdale Cup Jarka broke the news that Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates, has agreed to guest pose at the show! We'll be seeing him put his supplement line "Dorian Yates Nutrition" to the test to get him back into top form. But it gets even better... Jarka has also procured a commitment from Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman that he'll be competing in the show! Also competing in the show will be: Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout, Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson, Tony "Lay Man" Pearson and "The Real Deal" Chris Cormier will be making this show his final competition before he retires

For someone who doesn't give two shits about bodybuilding and wouldn't even piss on any of the current Olympian stage if they were on fire, this is fucking incredible news. This is huge. Massive. Throwbacks to a time when bodybuilding was respected and the Olympians aspired to.
Maybe we can finally settle this debate :P

this concept is riddled with with intrinsic problems as well
this is being pushe as a "masters show"...........offereing up all this prize money, like 200k or something ridiculous
in the hopes of attracting all these pros from the 90s that havent competed in a while
but the age cutoff is like over 40.........and there are still a bunch of currently-competing IFBB pros that are over-40......who can easily come in and dominate this competition and take all the money
but no one wants to see dexter, and freeman, and troy, and darrem compete.......everyone wants to see the older legends compete
so how do you tell, and essentially punish ,one group of over 40 guys to not compete in favor of trying to lure in another group of over 40 guys???
cause if currently competing still competitive pros compete, it will scare away a lot of the guys they actually want to compete
