For the Arnold Classic, everyone who would like to compete in it - all competitors need to apply. I thought the deadline was December 20th or so. Then they give out the list on the top 15 vote getters on December 24th or so. Congratulations to the ones accepted.

No, because they don't want to invite competitors who are not planning to compete - this way, they know who wants to compete, and who is sitting out the spring season and concentrating on other contests.

The photos posted here are damn impressive ... especially the first most muscular shot. Who the hell is that?

I won't be surprised if the amateurs are also very impressive and I have a strong feeling that the overall amateur will be won by someone outside of the USA. Maybe Finland or Chezk.

Those European guys seem to be improving by leaps and pounds.
