Title: 29 Days Left to SIGN UP for MHP's Kings of the Bench & Clash of the Titans
Post by: Sean Katterle on January 31, 2011, 03:12:00 PM
All entry forms must be post marked no later than March 1st (no exceptions please.) Every show we get a few lifters who planned for and trained for the contest, yet didn't get to lift because they got around to trying to get signed up after the deadline had passed. Since we make custom competitor uniforms and we put together pre-game press packets, we aren't in a position to bend the rules and allow for last minute entries.

Interested lifters can download and print the entry form here:

You can also view and/or print the lifter information packet here:

CHOOSE TO LIFT FOR THE RUSH OF POWERLIFTING IN FRONT OF A BIG AUDIENCE: Our show last year sold just over 3,000 general admission tickets. This year we're hyping up the contest more than ever by mailing out 5,000 fliers and 100 gym posters and by running a full page ad in Powerlifting USA (in addition to our online advertising.)

CHOOSE TO LIFT FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN SOME SOLID PRIZE MONEY: The biggest bench in the 175 Division wins $1,000 CASH. The 2nd biggest bench in the 175 Division wins $1,000 CASH. The biggest bench in the 176+ Division wins $1,000 CASH. The 2nd biggest bench in the 176+ Division wins $1,000 CASH. The biggest push/pull total of the show wins $1,000 CASH. The biggest deadlift of the show wins $1,000 CASH. The 2nd biggest deadlift of the show wins $1,000 CASH. The lightest man to deadlift 800+ wins $1,000 CASH. The most bench reps with 315 wins $500 CASH. The most bench reps with 405 wins $500 CASH. And the most deadlift reps with 600 wins $500 CASH. That's $9,500 in total CASH prizes!

CHOOSE TO LIFT FOR THE POSITIVE MEDIA EXPOSURE: Our contest video(s) will be featured on HouseOfPain.com, RxMuscle.com, Bodybuilding.com and on YouTube (of course.) We also routinely receive printed press coverage in Iron Man Magazine, Planet Muscle Magazine and in Powerlifting USA.

CHOOSE TO LIFT FOR A TROPHY THAT REALLY MEANS SOMETHING: Most powerlifting contests give out 1st place trophies to just about every lifter in the competition. At our show, the Top 3 Lwt Benchers, Top 3 Hwt Benchers and the Top 3 Deadlifters will be getting trophies. When you win a trophy at one of our pro promotions, you've got something that really means you surpassed a very tough field of competitive lifters.

CHOOSE TO LIFT FOR A RECORD THAT'S RECOGNIZED AND RESPECTED BY THE WHOLE GYM WORLD: If you look at our current federation records here:

http://www.hardcorepowerlifting.com/pdf_Contest/coleman%202011%20pg%206.pdf

and here:

http://www.hardcorepowerlifting.com/pdf_Contest/coleman%202011%20pg%207.pdf

you'll see that the bar is set very high, so setting a NEW record will be an accomplishment that you can be very proud of. Hardcore Powerlifting is also recognized and respected for our high standards of performace. So, getting a lift passed at our promotions means that you're officially certified to be at that level of strength and power (no bench shirts, no powerlifting suits and no gifts from the officials.) And Powerlifting USA ran our complete federation records list after our 2010 promotion and I'll be sending in the updated list to their publishing office after our April 2nd competition. Holding a Hardcore Powerlifting Federation record means that you've bested some of the strongest lifters in the world from the past six years of pro shows.

Please feel free to contact our business office if you need any assistance getting signed up to compete: Hardcore Powerlifting, Sean Katterle (pronounced "Cat Early"), 1.503.221.2238 (voicemail), Seanzilla@HardcorePowerlifting.com
