How many of you stretch before or between sets? i have read conflicting opinions on this.. that stretching during sets is not good and counter productive. I can't believe this.

I stretch all the time between sets - especially on the bigger bodypart groups like back, legs, and chest. Even triceps are stretched out during workouts and it helps keep the muscles supple and warm. Don't see any disadvantages to stretching at all.

Keep telling myself I`m gonna` stretch more but I never do! :(

After the sets - like religion.

I must admit ...I still half a$$ stretching before. I will stretch during workout and breath to get oxygen but I suck at pre stretching as well as post stretch (no matter if it's weight lifting or boxing/kickboxing...etc LOL)
today I pulled my right peck doing only 275 for a few reps. Not heavy at all..just poor warm ups rushing through sets like a dumbass.

im the same way, i always say im going to stretch but never do. been trying to get better but sucks (though I do love it) when you are super sore and tight lol stretching is very important

I asked the question because i wanted to know if you guy/gals are like me and hate doing it but love the benifits after.
