Nice. But instead of keep getting different degrees, licenses, etc., why not put all that effort into a specific field and start making money.

I wasnt; abble to secure an internship for nutrition and thus couldn't get certified.  I always liked criminal justice and wanted to joing the force.  When 9/11 hit i immediatley submitted applications to Air Marshals etc.  I've also always had an interest in Real Estate.  Plus i love going to school.

you are a wise man my friend. Just think of our "retirement" years as passing along our knowledge to the newbies. We'll be stress free, getting paid and pretty much enjoying what we do even in our 80's man.

If that's not long term thinking then I don't know what is. LOL

Good luck man.

thanks man...same to you......I felt that by being a psychologist, I can have the status that comes with being a Doctor, write a few books, teach at a University, see some patients, and keep working well into my mid -eighties......shouldn't be too stressful.....basically have to just listen to people's problems, grade papers and read a lot of books..I can do that!

Civil Engineering and MBA. I am also a registered Professional Engineer in 3 states.

Probably the best degree combo for a consulting engineer.

Money is decent and you can always find a job in a big City.

BS in Psych and BBA in Finance working as an analyst and going for my MBA with a concentration in Finance and have about a year left.

I will probably take courses in accounting to get the requirements to seat for the CPA exam.

After I finish up my MBA I will probaby teach a bit in the evenings and maybe on weekends. After I get my CPA I may teach both Accounting and Finance full time and work part time or start a small business to help supplement my income.

That is unless my earning potential is a decent amount over six figures(hopefully it will be) working in finance or accounting. If I can get around 80k teaching and working part time or running a small business I definitely think that will be the way I want to go.

I looked into a Phd but I dont think I could stomach another 4 or 5 years of school while working.
