I'd try this myself, but only on my home treadmil with the speed set really slow and no one is around to catch me acting weird. Might be fun. Sure could put some spice in what is generally a pretty boring cardio workout.
The other day at the gym, one of the physical therapist had a fellow slowly walking backward on a threadmil. I was curious what that was supposed to work on, but I didn't ask.

She owned everyone in that gym.
She's fat, she doesn't look great, but she danced her ass off on that treadmill.
Nothing embarrassing about it.
The idiots who put it online thinking they were going to "own" her look like buffoons.
