Title: NON training diet
Post by: dirtydog on December 20, 2011, 07:05:54 AM
So I've been training steady last few years w/ descent results, just trying to stay healthy & look half way decent. My Gym membership expired in Oct., i'm supposed to be buying a house but have been having issues with the bank, so our nov 4th closing date still hasn't happened.

I figured I'd give my body a rest and enjoy some "bad food" during the holidays. Now i'm stuck, i'm still going through nonsense with buying this house. I won't rejoin my gym and waste $ knowing i'll be moving soon (hopefully), the gym's monthly membership price is insane, so i've come to the realization that i will not workout again until i move (hopefully within the next month).

I'm trying to figure out how to diet without training, should i use the same principles (high protein, complex carbs etc.) Just eat less calories being i'm not burning as much?

I'm guessing i'm going to start a push-up routine as well.

disgusted!

Try fasting all day then eating a big meal in the evening then repeat. Also probably best keeping carbs low as they seem to stimulate appetite and over eating in alot of people. consume quite a bit of fat and protein as this will keep you full. Seriously fasting is a great way to eat and I feel so much better eating very little in the day then relaxing in the evening and having a nice cooked meal. Least then you can not feel guilty about eating crap as its hard to really overeat a crap load of food all at once when you fast all day.

Yeah bodyweight exercises and just going for a run is still alot better than nothing. Least you can concerntrate on getting fit and getting lean in the mean time. Don't need a gym for that.

Thanks man, luckily i finally got in the house. I really feel for anyone attempting to buy a house nowadays. I any event, i'm 1 1/2 back to the gym, the soreness is bananas but feels good at the same time.
Now it's back to the grill again!!!
