Newt Gingrich was just days away from the Jan. 31 Florida Republican presidential primary when he told reporters that his campaign was down to its last $600,000.
Five losing contests later, Gingrich and Winning Our Future, an outside political action committee supporting him, are almost silent on television airwaves, offering free water and coffee at events, and revamping a fundraising strategy based largely on the support of a single wealthy backer, Sheldon Adelson, and the Las Vegas casino owner’s family.
In the past seven days, Winning Our Future has spent $61,290 on broadcast television advertisements, compared with $636,920 spent by Mitt Romney and a super-PAC backing him, Restore Our Future, according to data compiled by New York-based Kantar Media’s CMAG, a company that tracks advertising.
For now, the Adelsons don’t plan to deliver another big check to float Gingrich’s campaign, according to a person familiar with their deliberations. The family has donated a combined $11 million to Gingrich’s super-PAC in the past two months, according to interviews and Federal Election Commission records. An Adelson spokesman declined to comment.
Gingrich’s shifting fortunes offer insight into how the rise of super-PACs and wealthy donors in the 2012 presidential campaign can change the dynamics of the contest in a short period of time.

Of course not, you were too busy watching MSNBC, you needed to them tell you what your latest opinion is on why Obama is so awesome and his group is so great.
*edit*
I would give you shit for not voting for Paul.. but the fact that he wasnt even running in Fl gets you off the hook.
Although I dont think it would have mattered if he was, you wouldnt have changed your registration to vote for him, youre an Obama supporter, you just cant come to grips with it.

i'm a registered independent
And this means what? ???
-
it means it was a 2-step paperwork process to register as a repub in fl (shudder) then change back and hope they didnt fck it up, for a candidate who conceded this state.
of course, anyone shitting on me for it won't provide photographic evidence of them voting.

Im not looking for excuses, if you read above I already said you get a pass as Paul wasnt really running in your state, so it would have been pointless to do the work.
My point was - I believe if he WAS running you still wouldnt have changed your registration, as evidenced by the plethora of excuses you gave when he WASNT running. lol.

I dont believe anyone else here claims to be one thing while their posts consist of everything that goes against what they claim to be, do they?

I continually hear 'youre against everything ron paul is about'.
This isn't true. I support him on the ONE SINGLE ISSUE that would completely transform our nation's future - SPENDING.
Nothing else matters besides that issue. He will curb spending, everyone else will not. It's that simple. RP is in excellent shape to be in contention in a brokered convention. He has something like 25 million to santorums 2.5 million bucks. He can keep gettins 2nd and 3rd places, and end up on the ticket should mittens not break 50%, which it's looking more and more like he will not.

I never said ron paul, my comment was about conservatism in general ;)

because 'conservatism' is such a bullshit phrase to be thrown around.
you know, the "real" conservatives in the tea party that settled for 385 millin in cuts lol...
Mitt used the word conservative 29 times in 28 minutes of speaking at cpac. it's just an overused word now that loses all meaning. You're not a true conservative unless you support bombing iran, right? LMAO.
