I have traveled many places around the world. This is the top 3 friendliest countries. No specific order.
- Peru
- Italy
- Turkey
these people will go out of the way to help you with anything. they are all very kind and warm heated people.
First time going there are a foreigner and then going back and staying with people. The amount of generosity and kindness is astounding!
Turks and Italians, but especially Southern Italians are out of this world nice. These people would take a bullet for you!
Peruvians are hilarious, very keen to help with anything, and very smart.

Went there a few times in my teens (in secret as I am a Greek Cypriot lol - my father would literally beat the shit out of me haha)
By far the most welcoming people on earth, and not just in the tourist areas. I felt genuinely sad to say farewell to that place each time.

and yes turkish are very friendly.. i remember i wanted to go to a certain place and asked someone in the street,.. he as most turkish was not speaking english but didnt leave me and kept asking others for me and i found like 4-5 guys all trying to help me without any of them knowing english and finally they understood where i wanted to go and showed me the direction :D

The "coffee" was very good,...never a disappointment regardless of choice...but the other patrons from around Europe and the locals were all good...At 3AM the only place to get food was the automat in the red light district...two locals went to great lengths to explain to me where it was.

Germany(Bavaria), Italy, and St Maarten. Been to Mexico and central America and was not impressed. Planning on another Europe trip in a year or so, and plan to start in Turkey and work my way west. So that's good to hear that they are friendly.
