Most supplements are a waste of money. Do not be suckered into parting with your hard earned cash by the falsified dreams planted in your head by the scam that is the bodybuilding supplement industry.
However, there are a small number of supplements that are beneficial for the bodybuilder. These are as follows;
1. Protein powder. The key here is not to rely on protein powders for the bulk of your protein intake. I think there is benefit to using whey pre/post-workout and casein before bed. Food should be your dominant protein source.
2. Creatine. Can be useful now and then between cycles of AAS.
3. Vitamins and minerals. I shall not go into each and every one, or dosages. Suffice to say they are beneficial. Do your homework.
4. Fish oils.
5. Coffee. A good source of caffeine and anti-oxidants. Some studies even suggest consumption of coffee pre-workout actually increases strength.
