The news was released on G&O and everyone already talked about it there. This forum is pointless lately... The other day I came here to see what people were saying about Manning signing with the Broncos... Fucking 240 posted it on G&O instead of here so nobody said shit here, it was all already said there even by regulars of this forum. Maybe they could rename this forum: "Minor Sports Issues; Shit Not Worthy of Even Trolls in G&O"

That was a gay ass move by roger... never liked this fucking hall monitor mentality he brings to the NFL.."Bounty programs" have been a part of football since i was in pop warner. We get Burgers for "whooo hits" and if we take a qb out we got a steak dinner in college.

They flat out lied to the league. Belichick did some illegal shit too. He never lied the league about it.
On top of that the nfl is facing considerable pressure in the form of lawsuits and bad pr for not tackling the brain trauma/concussion issue.
This was probably an easy call for goodell.

I agree, in addition to that I believe they were told at the time that if it existed they needed to discontinue it and they didnt.
Then they lied about its existence...
I like goodells approach to the league, dont act like a dumb ass and you wont have any problems

All the players being interviewed, on NFL Network, the coaches and anyone speaking on this matter have said they agree with the punishment and feel it's fair. Main reason being that the NFL was lied to afterwards.
Sean Payton has accepted full responsibility and Dr. Blitz has also not disputed it for a nano-second.
Yet you think Goodell was out of line. :D
