Whatsisname Renner is a good actor. Superheroes don't need 26 inch guns because it's made up fantasy land, would a superhero with massive guns be stronger than a superhero with regular guns? Would that make it any more realistic when they pick up a bus or something?

I feel sorry for the kids who watch these clowns and think hes cool I want to be like him, atleast with arnold and sly you had something to aspire to. Fuck I was bigger than the hair dresser on the left before puberty then after I was bigger that capt America. As for scarlet she looks a bit fat, dont get me wrong Ï like a bitch with an arse but she doesnt look like she has even trained for the role. Michelle Phifer as catwoman was fitter looking.

I was doubful at first, thinking it was a very bad choice putting Renner as Hawkeye, but after seeing the movie, he is quite decent as Barton.
Cap may not be as strong as Hulk, or can fly like Iron Man/Thor, but he is the one making everything work, he is the center of the group, the tactician and strategist, who comes up with the succesfuland efficient gameplans (wait with the takedowns until rd 2 for example).
It's all about Teamwork in the end.
It was one of the better Superhero-movies so far.
Looking forward to Avengers 2, where you will see a REAL tough villain, that also has an impressive bench.

They needed to put Olga Kurylenko as Black Widow, fits the bill...sexy with Eastern European/Russian accent....which Black Widow is supposed to be Russian...

There would also be an openly gay soldier that would be the second toughest and wittiest...but of course the black soldiers would still be killed off in the first ten minutes.
Regarding the picture, I'm pleasantly surprised that there is only a crew member in the background, not some tool in a "TapOut" or "Affliction" shirt.

That's exactly what I was thinking while watching it. Iron Man is flying around in his suit fucking shit up in the skies, Thor is a demi-god flying around and hitting everything with lightning, Hulk was smashing everything and even Captain America was holding his own on the ground.....and then you get Black Widow with a pistol and Hawkeye with a bow.

If I showed up to battle super villains armed with a hand gun or a dumb ass bow, and saw Hulk, Iron Man, Thor on the scene already..... I would just take my lunch box and go home. If something can survive getting hit by the Hulk, they are not even going to feel a damn bullet.

I thought the same thing when I saw this in a mag. I showed it to the girl next to me and she laughed at it. The mask and costume looks ridiculous. They could have made him look cool but it looks like a halloween getup.

Hollis said the slim 13 percent drop from Friday to Saturday reflects great word-of-mouth, as well as the fact that all segments of the audience are turning out, including families. Roughly 52 percent saw it in 3D.

Would've been a much much better choice. A far better fit for the role and i'd have enjoyed her more than Johansson. I graoned when i heard she'd got the role, and though i'm no fan, she didn't annoy me as much as i'd expected in the film.

Just saw the movie.
Loved it.
Dont know why people are hating so much on the flick.
Very entertaining.
Watching Renner and Scarlett try and keep up with the rest was pretty hilarious though.
Hulk vs Thor was awesome, nice little add for the nerds like indie-lad.
Hulk vs Loki was hilarious.

I loved it too. It was exactly what it set out to be - a perfect popcorn film that brought Marvels main players together. I had reservations about the Cap costume beforehand but I honestly only noticed it (in a negative way) a couple of times during the movie.
