When someone kills like this nutbag did today and there's zero doubt he did it, fuck questioning him. Torture him in the most brutal and horrific ways you can imagine for 48 hours before cutting him in half all broadcast on public tv. Then sterilize his entire family so the stupid psycho gean can be eventually removed from the population. This needs to become the normal way these things are handled.

I cant listen to anyone that is going to try and explain how this person became this monster. Or how whatever happened to him in his life drove him to this...bull fucking shit. This individual is a horrible and needs to be given the death penalty and it should be carried out swiftly and in amanner that is most cost effective and allows for the maximum amount of healing for locals.

I bet he was on some kind of mood altering crap. I think it's past time those drugs be banned and the stupid asses who made them locked up for life. He told some people online that he was suffering from ptsd so I bet some stupid shrink told him that and had him on something.

The guy purchased weapons, ammo and body armor over several months. He wired his apartment to draw in first responders so he could kill more folks at the movie house. He doesn't sound nuts to me...motivated by something or a simple douchbag. Then you have ABC trying to tie him to the Tea Party because they google searched his name and tea party and found a tea party guy with the same name. Sometimes things caused because folks are on drugs or not hugged as a kid. I would suspect that very few Nazi's were insane....very well motivate by something...but not insane.

The point wasn't that he is mentally insane athough you have to be an idiot to just announce that's not possible. Having a plan doesn't mean that he wasn't on mood altering meds which essetially turn your ass into a psychopath chemically. These drugs can make you just not give a shit. Having a plan has nothing to do with it.

There is a fine line between what you are suggesting and what he did. Both actions might be deemed completely insane by many rational people. No doubt he convinced himself that shooting up a theater full of people was warranted, just as you think this punishment is.

...Didn't you hear how the prisoners wanted to kill him? That's why he's in solitary confinement and on suicide watch. Eventually, he'll either get brutally killed, raped, or die of natural causes.
Either way, killing him now won't change what he did, nor prevent others from doing something similar.

The problem is that some people take what others say seriously....even when it is written in a comic book. On the television show, 48 Hours, last night, there was a segment about this horrific event and how people are now suggesting that it is the fault of the original comic book and the subsequent movies with the Joker character committing hauntingly similar crimes that is to blame for this "jokers" mass murderer actions. It's that old "the comic book made me do it" syndrome which translates to it isn't actually his fault.
He is a nut job. He caused a world of pain and suffering. He deserves no better than what he did to all those people and their families. I completely understand how you feel the way you do. The problem is, he is still a human being, no matter how flawed. Who among us has the right to take another person's life or exact revenge such as you describe without becoming exactly what we detest about this "Joker"?

Ever notice if a person kills one (maybe two) people they get the death penalty and are executed, but if they go on a mass killing spree and pile up a body count, they only are left to rot in jail?

Perhaps he is called a suspect because the law says you are innocent until proven guilty. This means he must either confess to the crime or go to trial and be found guilty, either by a judge or a jury of his peers.
