Title: The Office Part II
Post by: Armani on July 24, 2012, 12:12:39 PM
To repel the doughnut invasion, I've commandeered the cabinets in the firm coffee room for my own muscle building laboratory.

I don't think you need to worry about anyone stealing your stuff  ;D

HA!  I have to say that hasn't happened much.  That reminds me of a joke I saw the other day.  It's a picture of a guy eating food who says that he noticed that people have been "naming" food lately and that he he just ate a sandwich named "Kevin"...

Armani sometimes likes to whip up a quick batch of chilli between cases.

I have been known to up my fiber into the 75g to 100g on occasion.  Beans are a big part of that.  Before everyone chimes in with the toilet humor, I will say that my stsem has adapted to it quite nicely!

too much fiber is useless... especially non-soluble

I feel like it stabilizes my blood sugar.  Many days I am more in the 25g to 40g range.

What type?  I was going to buy one but it is the type that pricks your finger and my GF thought I was a little nuts to want to do that.  Thoughts?

my first one was a OneTouch Ultra Mini... all glucose meters involving pricking your finger or forearm... it's no big deal

more recently i bought the Freestyle Precision which also allows for Ketone level testing (warning though, ketone test strips cost a fortune)

self-testing is the only responsible way to live in a world where doctors are paid to only mask symptoms rather than heal sickness

Do you mean they are costly for that device, or in general?
I've never priced them.
