I remember in 1985 that Frank Richards told me that when he was in new york for the NOC that Jerry took him out for dinner and introduced him to his "family",and the introduction was one of "a friend of mine".Soprano style.

Thanks buddy,once I wake up I`ll definately check it out.
I still see Bob Gruskin at the NABBA Nats..........had some physical problems but still attending shows,living in the Bronx and running a good portion of NABBA USA.
Have talked to him on many occasions and I don`t think the fag stories about him are true.
He used to come to our gym back in the late 70`s early 80`s to take pics of King ,Pat Hayes,Richard Roy and Rick Sampson for MuscleUp magazine.
You`re an old fuck if you remember those mags put out by Charlton publications..........th ey had pulpy paper like a comic book.
Gruskin told me back then that if I got my legs bigger,he`d do an article on me...................... .....my legs are still twigs to this day! :( ;D

joeys used to be the place to be back in the day, im glad its still in effect and kickin. i havent been there in over 15 years or so, do they still have the heavy bodybuilding crowd with the guidette chicks there?

last club i hit up in 99 or so was club abyss on rt 35, i remember seeing bodybuilder sean allen bouncing there back then, he looked huge as hell. manny yarbrough, the 600lb sumo wrestler worked there bouncing also

Sunday night happy hour is a great time. Lots of chicks in bikinis and lots of big guys but IMO are just mid 20s on a summer cycle. I'm 40 now and look better than most on my trt and small doses lol . But that's because I train hard. Anyway hunks bunka is now starland ballroom where I see metal concerts. Idk how I got home some nights back in the 90s lol

how strong was arnold? Ive found alot of contradictory stuff on his lifts. didnt he deadlift like close to 700 pounds when he was 19? there was a pic it was well over 600 pounds

Contest numbers -
Best Powerlifting numbers were -
Squat #215 kgs, Bench #200 kgs, and Deadlift #310 kgs .
Best Olympic Numbers were -
C/J #298 lbs, Snatch #243 lbs, and C/P #264 lbs.
I haven't seen the weight class reported, but this was the heavy, pre coming to America Arnold.
