curb is one of the funniest shows, Larry David is one of the best writter comedians and is a certifiable NUT.

I think this makes a good top 10 list TV History! You have a litte of everything. Nothing beats the Sopranos or Breaking Bad. However I hope breaking bad ends better then the sopranos. Oz teaches you alot about the inside of a jail and how to survive and manipulate people.Many skills for survival without having to get to friendly.You have to stick with your own kind and don't take any shit from anybody no matter how big they are.

well it's a great comedy! but if you want a well written great show I would say Breaking Bad,Sopranos and X-files are all great shows. Sopranos has to be the best due to the realness of the show. It really is very similar to the mob scams they ran at that era in 1999-2006. Very good show. shows you how family is the best thing you have and to stick to your culture and the people you can somewhat trust, It is also good because at the end iving that life you realy cannot trust anybody.

Arrested Development - why the fuck they canceled this is beyond me, some of the most non-sequitor humor on TV, ever.
I re-watched Arrested development a couple years after it went off the air and I loved it even more. The show is utter genious. They are making a new season and movie that will be shown on Netflix.

I hear you, plus the the "killing" of Sarah in the 3rd season were flaws too....but in general I havent watched a tv series that has kept me on the edge of the seat like that one.
I guess I need to watch more tv then.

Boardwalk Empire is outstanding as far as historical authenticity, wardrobes, and pageantry. I can't imagine the amount of money that is spent by production on that show.
Damn shame they killed Jimmy at the end of season two. By far, the best character on the show.
Season 3 premiere on September 17th. Can't wait!

I highly doubt he survived it....
IMO that will ruin the whole series...with the murder of the protagonist of the series..
We'll see what season 3 has in store...but many ppl are upset with the killing of jimmy...

twilight zones from back in the 60,s r awesome, i downloaded the whole collection. it took me 28 dvd,s to get all the episodes, im watching afew episodes now

so am I....awesome show and no matter how many times you watch them, you still get a thrill at the end.....probably the most amazing show ever because people just watch them again and again again......I wonder how much Rod Serling's estate is making off these old episodes...they must have made a killing so far because these episodes have been shown continuously for almost 50 years

why would they kill such a cash cow? I predicted a season where heisenberg returns to be the kingpin, then is outright caught by his limping brother-in-law DEA agent in the season finale.
Then, next season, the DEA brother-in-law (already getting railroaded for his own rogue investigation into this heisenberg) starts WORKING FOR Heisenberg, being the muscle after Mike loses his mind and makes a power play, etc.
they could milk this for a few more years. WHy stop it? I still wish Wire season 6 was available, too...

How does the Game of Thrones TV series compare with the books? Anybody know?
I can't speak for season 2, but the first season did a very good job of keeping to the story line of the first book. A few things were changed and I'm guessing because of budget constraints a few things weren't filmed that I was looking forward to seeing (Rob Stark vs Jamie Lannister at the battle of the Whispering Wood). Characterisation was near flawless - whoever cast the show did a fantastic job with only a couple of exceptions, so yeah - season 1 stacks up well with the first book of the series.
Things in the books only get more grandiose though, so I'm very keen to see how much they'll have to deviate from the books in the coming series.

The Wire is probably best of the best, a very cerebral show which tried to show why things are the way they are in terms of crime, drugs, police, media, etc.

Six Feet Under--by far! The series got better and better. And the final episode was just as good!
That series ender finale for SFU was brilliant. By far the best final episode of any series ever...
YES! The series dragged a little in season 3/4, but that finale was outright beautiful.
Nothing on TV or film as ever affected me more than the SFU finale, really gets inside your head and makes you think about your own life/family.They should use it to break prisoners at Guantanamo, I still cant rewatch the final 6 minutes (dont watch if you havnt seen the show!)

Are you just a dumb fuck? it has already been renewed. Like the other guy said, it's like watching a movie each week. They have one of the hottest actors out there in it, guy is going win the oscar this year. The show just seems to draw you in and keeps you in its grasp for the full hour its on.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Star Nicholas Brendon Gets Married One Week After Proposing
Nicholas Brendon is a married man!
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, who had a crush on Sarah Michelle Gellar 's character in the beloved series, said "I Do" to his girlfriend Moonda Tee late last week.
"AND WERE MARRIED!!!" Brendon revealed on Twitter while posing with his wife in front of the iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.
Tee donned a short white dress, veil and sheer black gloves while holding red roses. In comparison, Brendon went casual with a brown blazer, denim jeans and a navy blue sweater.
"I just got married under the Welcome to Las Vegas sign," the new bride shared on Facebook with even more photos from the big day.
The ceremony comes one short week after the actor popped the question to his girlfriend in Colorado. On his Twitter page , Brendon shared a photo of when he got down on one knee while holding an engagement ring in a hair salon.
As it turns out, she said yes and they didn't waste any time in getting hitched. In an added romantic twist, the couple's dog was able to be with the twosome for all the special occasions.
Fans will always remember Brendon's character named Xander Harris in the popular WB and UPN series. From 1996 all the way to 2003, the Buffy actor made quite the impression on loyal fans.
Just last month, he was able to reunite with co-star Emma Caulfield in Australia at a comic book convention.
Since the show wrapped, Brendon has still been able to find success with recurring roles on shows like Private Practice and Criminal Minds.
Congratulations to the happy couple on their exciting news!
