King looked his best at 200 pounds - sure he wasn't "pro size" though was still huge - his frame was not designed to carry the mass to compare with the bigger guys - sure he put the size on but it ruined his physique

I hate Kamali and the image he puts forth for his audience. With that said, I have to defend the above pic just in case people mistakenly forgot that the photo was taken when Titus and him were mocking oje another that year at the NOC. Kamali was intentionally pushing his abs out in attempt to bring light to Titus' gh belly.
But no matter, I still hate Kamali.

Kamali should have retired after the '01 Ironman. He had crazy support at that show, people with horns and whistles in the audience, like a European soccer match. His blocky waist and small arms would never look that good again.

Whilst not the best they did not distract from his physique back then of you look, rather than just imposing your image of him now over the top.
Most people would kill for that physique, and those biceps are pretty insane by normal person standards.
Plus wholistically speaking in BB terms, it didn't hold back Dorian.

Kamali thought he was packing on muscle just because the scale went up. He literally didn't put on any more muscle past 2001. It was comical watching the OIL turn on him though like is happening to Cutler.

Kamali looked pretty good at the 99 Nats
and the 2001 season. He didn't have tier one
genetics. He did have a personality - like it or not
that is sorely missing with most bodybuilders.
He had a pretty good chest and an above average
back and that's about it.
