Synopsis
The 38-year-old bodybuilder Dennis would really like to find true love. He has never had a girlfriend and lives alone with his mother in a suburb of Copenhagen. When his uncle marries a girl from Thailand, Dennis decides to try his own luck on a trip to Pattaya, as it seems that love is easier to find in Thailand. He knows that his mother would never accept another woman in his life, so he lies and tells her that he is going to Germany. Dennis has never been out traveling before and the hectic Pattaya is a huge cultural shock for him. The intrusive Thai girls give big bruises to Dennis' naive picture of what love should be like, and he is about to lose hope when he unexpectedly meets the Thai woman of his dreams.

At 0:16 the girl reacts to being told that he's a professional bodybuilder by dropping her head down.
It's as if he told her that he was an insecure, drug abusing, law breaking, narcissist with a distorted body image or something. :D

Kim is already in Fast and Furious 6, and after that movie is released, the sky's the limit for Kim Kold.
In all seriousness though, he will probably get typecast-roles as a big dude in the upcoming Hollywood-movies.. :D
Still, to go from "Dennis" and "Teddy Bear" to Hollywood is quite the feat!

I watched Teddy Bear when it uploaded to youtube for a bit.
He comes off better than he did in Dennis. They get rid of that incest storyline or whatever they were trying with that. His mother is just super controlling and has broken his spirit. He's super shy and inexeperienced. Wants the girlfriend experience, not just to fuck.
Worth to see once. Lots of people out there like this in the world. Being a wimpy kid generation and all.

I like to see certain bodybuilders get a break in movies. (I think Mike O'Hearn could/should have been chosen for Hollywood roles).
But that being said I found this trailer very depressing. The whole situation with his mother is plain creepy and then this solution that men who cannot date normal women in Europe or the USA.... and must go to Thailand.... is exceedingly self-defeating and bleak.
It's like admitting to oneself ..."I'm a failure in the dating game so I have one last resort...Thailand ..... even if some of them are transgender males"....?

The movie has many uncomfortable dialogues. Guy has his heart on the right place, but his poor socialization skills are painful to watch. A cute & petite Thai woman is perfect for a guy like him.

I dont know if you know that this is a Very common occurrence with lonley older men in Sweden, and I assume other europeans countries also (as in probably denmark also). Not just lonley men but older men whos sick of the dating game and just want someone to be with/fuck. And who can blame them.
Sometimes when I go and buy my bulk pepsi max at I guess the "walmart" of sweden but way smaller, you can see at times 2-3 older fat men with these small fit pretty thai's.

I hear you and respect your opinion. My college buddy totally lacked confidence in the dating game.... but he was the nicest guy in the world and a true friend. Eventually married a Thai girl when he hit 39....she was 26. He is very happy and I am happy for him.
