Why are they constantly speaking about the '98 Arnold as if it relates to the footage then?

Do you think he looks like one in that footage? Looks way sharper than todays glazed donuts imo.

No, I meant that the winner of this yr's USAs has THE glazed donuts look, whereas Flex didn't.

How gay are you? Are you OneMoreRep gay, flaunting your dicktaking abilities or are you one of the "in the closet" gays that BatGBM is always on about?

then drops to 405 and pound 10 reps......
i dont usually call bullshit on peoples lifts because i dont really care

Charles Glass had said that he had to tell Flex to calm down o the heavy lifting back in 92-93.
I can see Flex at times trying to lift some big weight, either for ego or to see if he still had it.

You mean The Mass Construction vid where it was days after the Mr. O?

I could see Flex doing what he said in the offseason or weeks out from a comp, but two weeks out or even after a comp, no. Flex competed at 215-230, and later on 240ish, so him putting up big weight at relatively light bodyweight is not believable, but him in offseason mode and weight, I can see it.

Heath's conditioning is the exception rather than the rule nowadays. But, "nowhere near"  ??? Not sure about that!

Who knows. You can see the 98 logo there and, anyway, he still had hair in 94.

Hmmm no!! I grew up in southern cal and have seen all these guys train I even worked out at Venice golds when I was a teen in the late 90's (98/99) flex is okay strong, never seen him do 500 on icline or anything close, no where near levrone or ronnie level. It's all BS from chad  ::)

Yeah, htat was Mass Construction, it was like 6 days after the O

No, I don't think Flex is stronger than Coleman or Kev (in fact I think he should have trained with Coleman, but he has trained with Kev before), I thik that his triceps take over for a lot of pressing movements, as he doesn't have a big chest, but his triceps are of very good size.

He used to train with Cormier back in the day, and Cormier has never come out and said that Flex was a weakling, which is very telling

The irony of your statement , it's guys like you who are constantly ranting about everyone else being gay are the ones who are PMing Bay dozens of times. You have an unhealthy preoccupation with homosexuality, it says a lot about you.

what is Flex Wheeler's Legacy?

I think people will remember him as a underachiever although he won 17 contest(four Arnolds & three 2nd places finishes at the O).

I've always thought he had bad luck. Car accident, ninja strike ;D and most of all competing against legendary conditions of Ronnie&Dorian 93, 98, 99.

Flex would become mashed potatoes under 500 pounds on an incline bench.

Hell, the world's greatest pressers would struggle to do a few reps with such a weight.
