John has been at the National level since the early 2000's. He took 4th the year Tevita smashed his trophy and walked off stage.

John is BIG. Only about 5'5" but he busts his ass!

Like Tevita would have amounted to anything...he did get his Pro card, right? And never really amounted to anything. He had good abs, and that was it, if I remember correctly.

Jay, Branch, Phil, Evan, ... they all look a lot healthier than Meadows' face does imo.

A relative expression if ever there was one.  I don't think you'll find many health professionals who think they look "healthy."  When they are all in contest shape and dry none of them look healthy.  Even off season, when they are carrying more water and look fuller, you should not be deceived; the human heart does not like to pump blood through a physique that is 5'7" and 250lbs+ be it muscle or fat.  :-\

Come on Bay, you KNOW I was being relative here  ;) Of course they are all very unhealthy, but some look to be a bit closer to the grave than others. And the ones with the purple-red head looking like it's about to explode any minute are one step closer than the others I'm afraid. (such as seen in these pics here)

I was in Pittsburg last July for a conference and there was a bodybuilding show going on the same weekend the conference started.  Sure enough i guess most of the competitors stayed at the Westin hotel like i did, i saw a ton of protanned men and women that looked like they were starved half to death walking around the area.  One evening i'm heading down the elevator and it stops on a floor, John and his wife and kid i believe get on.  I've never met or seen John in person before, but you could tell he was ripped as hell.  His forearms looked paper thin.  I spoke to him for a few minutes and told him good luck.

Seemed like a nice guy, very approachable, but man was he short.  I'm 5'11" and i felt like i was a foot taller than him.  I dont know what show this was for, not sure how well he did.  The guys neck has got to be 20".
