But, the under achiever is the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ, the aftermarket is goig explode over this car. What you possibly might be looking at is another Honda Civic like aftermarket and tuning.
Look out for it at the next stop light.

I grew up with the guys that used to run this car, remember this was about 1982. They were forced out of the business due to the feds cracking down on the hydrogen peroxide they needed for fuel. There were also some serious issues with insuring them once they found out how fast this car could go. They would only put enough fuel in to run 1/2 track, the problem was always the shut down area.

Never got into tuning & mods. If I did I'd work off a diesel or LS1 platform.
Parts are relatively cheap & sooo much knowledge out there about modding those 2 platforms...& ricers can't touch the power that they can produce.

and you are correct, the new mustangs and camaros are pieces of junk, i wouldnt have one if it was given to me, they might make a little bit of power but it dont matter when the cars are heavy as boat anchors

some american musclecar outperformed in the only thing they can do, accelerate in a straight line(they cant even hold top speed for long without blowing the tranny into a million pieces and melting the rear axle),gets beaten by basic orsche carrera.
lol, the turbo wouldve murded it much worse.

^^^ It's amazing what those guys are doing on radials. I had a hard time getting my 450 hp Corvette to dead-hook using DR's.

yea, the nitrous guys do it with progressive controlers and timing ramps and low low gears in the rear, and the turbos just control the boost and ramp it in, they are fun to watch
