marriage will give you a secure, safe bond, a friendship and 'team' feeling that is indscribable.
But it can't give ya that new hookup scared excited feeling.
that 'animal' in you gets tamer over the years for most people, however.

you gotta find happiness within yourself and don't try to find this happiness within another or else you're doomed to failure
dependency is not a good thing
happiness=accepting who you are and being content
-
reading this boards it seems like every long term relationship with a damsel will turn out in disaster
children also very bad
marriage the devil
divorce = game over
is this the reality?
a lot of women will say "no no... that is negative thinking ..." but of course a conman is not going to tell you in advance how he's gonna rip you off...
what is the deal here
seems like it always ends horribly for men
(jose raymond is a recent case that comes to mind, you all know cases like this in real life)
You're right. Go with your heart, and puruse that relationship with that large black man in the mailroom you've been oogling seductively.

Why would you come here for relationship or marital advice?

are you saying one should get married but keep going the secret casual encounters on the side if he wants to achieve the ultimate level of happiness?

there's a moral and societal stigma associated with this.

my grandpa always used to say "a good woman is a dead one"
great guy he was. yes i used to fish with him on salmon.

if you can ever find a woman you can trust you its pretty good.

And a financial one. It's quite crippling.

People will do whatever can better their lives. If a woman has a good marriage that is often not enough. She's always looking to move up into an even better situation. This can be said of men as well, but men are usually the bread winners and aren't looking to better their situation through marriage.

I've been with my wife for years...its great. But we also acknowledge that we don't want kids. those seem like relationship destroyers, because you're no longer living for yourself. I also didn't just marry a "hot chick," I found a person who I shared a deep intellectual and philosophical bond with, that is just as much fun to hang out with as my male friends. No, she's not "one of the guys," nor would i want that, but we can go out and have a good time, and we do. Concerts, restaurants, bars...you gotta find out if you can actually talk to the person you're fucking. Any two people can fuck, but its a rarity that you can talk to them and be satisfied with it. Most of my male friends don't really seem to enjoy hanging out with their sig others/wives/girlfriends...they're in it for the sex and the company.
Want to know if you found a keeper? Take a road trip. if she's ok with driving in silence, and only talking when conversation presents itself, you've found a keeper. incessant talking is a sign of insanity and insecurities.

the worst are the types that are continually on some journey of self-discovery, narrating it for everyone within earshot.

I find the feckless meanderings of one person's soul in search for meaning in a completely random universe devoid of a plan, to be quite therapeutic, actually. Helps me feel superior and confirms my belief that we are born and die alone, which feeds my natural narcissistic/nihilistic tendencies.
Say what you want about nihilism...but it's an ethos, man.

If bitches had to follow Sharia Law, we as men would be alot better off. Bitches lost their place and we haven't reminded them where it is.

If you need Sharia to do this than you're delusional.
Only thing that needs to be done is visit certain people in education and politics and bring everlasting peace to them.

Education brings peace to most. republicans don't know shit, follow the bible, and are amongst the angriest people on the planet! lol

There a variety of philosophically complex, "nice nihilisms" on offer from the analytic philosophy literature, all of which preserve the good stuff about moral discourse and human behavior. It's really a misunderstood position bro, rep that shit!
