Just like he did in 2010, as well (and I pointed it out then, too), when NO ONE said a single fucking thing about "phil heath." People didn't give two shits about him, then he wins the olympia, looking the exact same, and all of a sudden he's "unbeatable", "so far ahead of the rest it's scary", "unreal", "top 5 of all time", blah blah blah...

NOT his conditioning was better the previous year but I'm not there so I'm reduced to comparing off of video and pics only but to me he looked sharper last year , I think he's still good enough to win this year and Kai is much closer , I don't feel he'll win with straight firsts

this is a great post!!! great comparison pics.
i think he looked much harder n what i really saw last year was perfect really its hard to improve on perfection.....not as ripped or crisp
crisp is the word i think..he dialed it in last year just rite n this year he tried to get bigger but its his lines n condition last year that makes him unbeatable...he looks way different than last year..i still think he beats kai !!!

yes it is also quite noticable in the fdb. he had very good abs in this pose when he started :-[

He must have been in ecstacy over Jay losing his title. he cannot seriously think Phil is better than Ron.
I think many don't think about that Kai and Phil are both pretty short. Ronnie is almost the height of Dennis Wolf, he would have had no problem dwarfing someone as narrow as Phil.

He was way more detailed last year and his lower abs looks to be suffering from some nerve damage or something along those lines. Chad said it best, he is 10% off from last year.
