I never met anyone in school who had a college fund started by their parents. This seems to be a perfect world scenario that is almost never reality.

You're absolutely right. Most kids don't have a college fund in place, because their parent's are like Paco. They'd rather spend money on drugs than on their own kid that they brought into this world. It's a vicious cycle, but somebodies got to do it. :D

My parents had 3 kids. mom stayed at home, dad worked a good, professional job. we were not rich nor poor, solid middle class
The nerve of that fucking loser to not come up with 200,000 cash to put us all through college scott-free, after raising us, and he's trying to put together his life after retirement for him and his wife
apparently a lot of getbiggers live in a John Hughes movie, where everyone lives in an 8 bedroom estate in Conneticut, and our parents are all very wealthy bankers, lawyers and surgeons.
I guess the 1% of the wealthiest Americans all hang out on getbig ::)

About contest prep, he is always caluculate the cost comparing with the income from his sponsor. Always reasonable.
