Paper currency (no matter how pretty it is) is garbage.

Only gold and silver are real money.  Go and read the US Constitution.

Benjamin Franklin: "Look at those fools looking at this piece of paper... what a morons"

Gold... it's why US of ass invaded Libya. Gadaffi wanted to introduce gold and silver currency in africa and arab countries. To top it off. Arab countries have no taxes, none. Libya had NO DEBT... NONE... it had surplus of wealth.

The wealth was also distributed amongst the people and other important infrastructural projects.

The IMF/world bank had no business in there. So... hence.. this was a threat.

Screw paper money. It's almost as good as toilet paper.

New bills seem like a wasted effort:

it doesn't matter how many times they redesign the bill or install security features.  The counterfeiters are just one step behind and will catch up in very short order.

more to the point, paper currency does not "expire" or lose its face value even if the bill is very old.  If I stashed brick of c-notes in my safe for 50-100 years and my kids (or grandkids) discover it later the paper money is still worth its face value.  Approximately one half of all U.S. paper currency in circulation is circulating outside the United States.  Some of that money is counterfit and some of it is printed by bad guys who have copies or near perfect copies of the "plates" used to print the money.  Even when money is redesigned the old plates are still good for printing "new" money because the design of the plates effectively never expire.

The bureau of printing and engraving used to print $1000 bills and even $10,000 bills. If you have one or a stack of those bills they are still worth their face value even though those bills have been out of circulation for decades.

Screw paper money. It's almost as good as toilet paper.

Whereas the wily rich Jew would say "Paper money most definitely is an integral resource in today's global economy" this fool "Ahmed" says paper money is "almost as good as toilet paper"

So when I see that video of the Israeli soldier kicking a Palestinian in the ass with his foot while his German Shephard bites another on the leg it becomes so much more evident as to why they are so easy to control and take advantage of.

money can be anything used in trade. gold is no more money than chicken breasts are money. all goods and services are equally money. paper and coin currency are really the only types of money that can be truly called money because they are the only type of money that derive their value solely out of of being money and dont possess worth in of being a good or service that could be traded on its own outside of being money.

It's a known fact the US $100 is the most counterfeited bill in the world.  The effort involved to counterfeit small denomination is just not worth it.

When US soldier entered Libya they found 10 of millions of counterfeit US $100s in Sadam's palaces.  Several Caribbean countries don't accept $100 USD because chances are it is fake.

I agree...the rise in the price of gold is not indicative of an increase in its value.  It's rise is indicitive of the decrease in the purchasing power of the fiat currency.  You have more "dollars" being created chasing the same amount of gold/silver ounces...thereby the rise in the "price" of gold and silver.  With the Fed announcing unlimited monthly bond purchases and creating the "currency" to buy that debt on of thin air you will continue to see a "rise" in the price of all commodities.  Gold and Silver, versus oil, soy, wheat and sugar, have the added benefit of not being consumed.  They exist in their pure form without rusting or degrading.  Gold and silver aren't "money" as a lot of libertarians think...they just fit the description of "money" best.  Their rise to the top comes from 5000 years of human use.

To be fair, I wouldn't spend all 100k on the metals.  I would buy producing farmland, equipment to maintain it, precious metals and keep a little as cash to trade.  Cash will maintain some value for a while in as the currency collapses.

Lol at gold or money being worth anything.  The day the gov goes under, money and gold will be useless.  The only currency that will count will be this:
