We all walk around here like that here. You get used to snakes, crocs etc. I have stood on so many snakes and every single time they just slither away and are not bothered by me.
-
That was really awesome video! I could and we should watch stuff like this at least four, five hours a day.

From the beginning because that's all you know. You're surrounded with crazy wildlife everywhere you go and so it's the norm. Where I do my brisk walking there is a crocodile which lives in the pond and it's just normal to know he's there. Steve Irwin tried to help the locals catch him but they were too stupid and so we are stuck with him.

Yep and I have seen it too sunning itself. I don't worry about it except for once when I walked early around 5am and it was foggy and a little on the creepy side cause of the fog. I heard noises in the bushes, imagined its eyes watching me and sprinted as fast as I could. But that's the only time it has ever bothered me knowing it's there.

About the same age americans get used to car jacking, mugging, crack whores, guns in every house etc
Seriously, Australia is not really *that* hardcore. I feel a hell of a lot safer here than I would in the US

Wildlife is much safer than the human race anyday.

Hahahaha.... Sure... You have walked on snakes and they slivered away... Now that is bullshit. Any brown snake in Australia would attack from this.
And crocodile? Please state where u are because I am calling bullshit again.

Well, you speak the truth in a way, i know you Americans have to deal with a different kind of wildlife, but a wildlife nonetheless (Dark primates etc) :D
That wildlife can be as unpredictable as australian crocs, snakes and whatnot

I am in North Queensland. I have no idea what kind of snakes they are because they are so fast..they just slither off. They are on the walking track I do sometimes early in the mornings. I don't walk looking at the ground so by the time I feel it under my foot, it's slithering away into a hole in the ground to hide.
Here's a news article taken from the town I live in. http://www.dailymercury.com.au/news/wayward-croc-stops-traffic/1329247/
