Post by: Donny on October 26, 2012, 02:37:37 AM
After reading Mezo_Z reply on "Running the Rack" i thought it might be good to talk about "Advanced training":   so lets name a few of them...

Trisets and Giant sets
Double-split system
staggered sets
Peak contraction
Continuous Tension
Quality Training
ISO-Tension
Rest-Pause
Pre-Exhaust   and there are more...   ;)

NO... every Bodybuilder hits a plateau and putting more plates on the bar is not so easy. Later the advanced trainer must look for other means to get to the next stage...

Descending sets
superslow reps
pure Negatives
1 1/4 reps
cheat reps
Forced reps
Isometric stops....

plateau?

i train to train

there's no goal, no rhyme, no reason

i lift and do what feels right and it does change over time....

probably because the only thing i am competing against IS time...

i love to train and i'll train until i die and become worm meat
