Only a moron would take that bet.  I want Romney, but I would be surprised if he won.

How about if Romney wins = you gtfo from getbig for a month.

or if you are willing, I will put my account on the bet that Romney wins tommorow. This only if you agree to delete your account since you are so confident in Obama victory.

I'd consider it, if you agree to these terms.

A Romney Loss = perm acct deletion

You take a IQ test and if you score below 95 you get perm sterilization.

It is easy, Coach. When you look back at previous Presidential campaign promises and then look at how those promises played out during the elected Presidents time in office, you will find that often the results are disappointing. It does make some difference who is President of the U.S. it just doesn't make as much of a difference as people think it does. Keep I'm mind, the President is not a dictator, he has powers but not the absolute power to change things as some people either think or hope he does.

My prediction is that if Obama is elected for another term, he won't achieve all he has promised in his campaign speeches. If Romney is elected President tomorrow, he also will not live up to all of his campaign promises. This is just reality. Actually, it is fascinating how passionate and invested we all are in these elections. Never-the-less, one must vote because to not vote at all is to give up and that should never happen.

What about universal healthcare?

If Romney wins, that is gone.

That's why I never accept the argument that it makes no difference.

Romney say's he will eliminate it.  If elected he probably will try. I am not so sure he will succeed. The affordable health-care act is law. It is not as if the sitting President can simply negate it. Health-care in the U.S. is the worst of all developed countries. IMO, Obamacare is a step in the right direction. It would be a shame if we took a step back.

If you can't admit this nitwit Obama is a failure after 4 years, do you think you will finally be able to after 8 years (if he wins)?

God, I want to wake up tomorrow with some hope for the next four years, instead of dreading the next four years.

Yes. My secretary told me her daughter was voting this morning, and that people were hooting and hollering in line, saying " vote for Obama and get a free phone". I assume she doesn't live in the best area. Either way, these are the folks that are deciding your future.  :-\

It's the underachiever's mentality.  The underachiever will go out of his or her way to "not work".  After all, why would they want to work for a living, when they can circumvent the system, and get shit for free.

Romney = Get off your ass, and work for a living.
Obama  = Sit on your ass all day, and get shit for free.

-Democrat here. I started working in the summer when I was 15 years old. As an adult, I worked at least 40 hrs a week 52 weeks a year (less vacation time) for the better part of 50 years. I have never applied for nor received public assistance, I paid considerable $$$$ into SSI and Medicare as well as investing for my eventual retirement. I don't work now, I volunteer because I don't need the money. So now tell me again about why a vote for Obama = sit on your ass all day and get shit for free?

You are the Democratic voter from the 1950s. You should probably talk to some younger democrats that were born in the 80s.

I was talking to Johnny about the people in the video above, and their mentality.  Good for you for being one of the 1% (the 1% who've worked hard, and made it).  I applaud you.

Not quite the 50's wasn't eligible to vote until 1965. Back in the day, you had to be 21 years old to vote. Incidentally, my parents frequently crossed party lines when they voted sometimes voting for the Democratic candidate and sometimes the Republican one. They voted for Richard Nixon. -Tell's you what a rebel I was/am.
