Post by: Pet shop boys on November 07, 2012, 05:08:48 PM
That's right amigos,  December MD features Arnold on cover with pics of his 1980 phisique and a pullout poster (free) but you have to buy the mag for $6.99.

I was more interested in the jay cutler's comeback series on the bottom.

Arnold is broke after divorce/scandal, hence writings books, getting involved in BB crap again, movies, etc... etc... with all due respect :-/

It's true: stick Arnie on the cover of your bodybuilding mag and sales increase for that issue.

But what's on offer will be a typical seen-that-before deal.

I mean, what possible new info/pics can they feature? We've seen 'em all. More times than we care to recall, no doubt.

There actually are heaps that have been posted over the years but it was only one contest, even if the most controversial. With so many other contests, the pics just get lost sometimes. Builtreport.com features heaps.

What's funny is that on the Pumping Iron DVD cover, there's two or three pics from 1980... I think it's Arnie's way of saying - "hey, I'm proud of the physique I achieved to win and I'm gonna put it out there, not ashamed." In reality, only the hardcore bodybuilding fans would even know the difference between 1975 and 1980.
