I dunno - in 2008, mccain had that bullshit 'internal polls' - and Drudge was punk enough to make it their headline.
in 2012, we joked they'll probably do it again - AND THEY DID! Secret internal polls leaked to an overseas newspaper, cited as news that Romney was leading in internal polls.
Same bullshit, made-up headline DIRECTLY from the candidate down by 5 points... Same credibility assigned to it.
And in 2016, "if" Hilary is beating Rubio by 5 points in every poll, you can bet Drudge will do it again.

Ryan would have had WAY more. He couldn't funciton in a clean empty kitchen without looking lost and confused. You put him in front of reporters 18 hours a day like Mitt, and he's saying some SILLY shit. Notice how they kept him hidden for the last 3 weeks? Dude was a liability.

you make a good point but I think they kept him hidden more because they didn't want him talking about cutting Medicaid which he was dead serious about.....didn't want to lose any senior votes in Florida which they thought they had a legit shot of winning.....

I dont think anyone (except christie or jeb or maybe some senior repub statesman like those old governors) could beat hilary.
Rubio wouldn't beat hilary - nostalgic swing voters that chose bill clinton, bush2, and obama will choose her.
Rubio is just not ready, IMHO - he needs more time. MAYBE if the dems run a softball field, he should jump in. But if i was rubio, I'd keep quiet, build an amazing record, and let the candidates beg me for the veep slot. Better to be freakin amazing at VEEP than barely prepared for Prez job. And hilary is gonna be a beast - probably one term, no holds barred, her last political charge - no newbie repub wants that kind of heat. Imagine bill clinton going 'all out'... brutal, dude.

I can see your scenario happening......but if Hillary does sit out then I see Jeb Bush jumping in there because his name recognition is so huge how can he not???.....the question would be whether the public would hold his brother, W, against him......The Bushes have Donors and influence up the ass and Jeb is perceived to be smarter than W......put him in a group with Palin, Rubio, Cain, Santorum, Newt...and its no contest hands down
