I understand what your saying here but the whole point of Fox news is to promote a particular political agenda by creating an insulated reality. They aren't going to give quality air time to anyone intent on bursting that bubble and undermining their conservative message.

obviously the did give air time to "those people"
because promoting a political agenda isnt the goal, its the character they play
its like wwf , its entertainment news they just want to make money , so probably letting the other side be heard more will boost ratings, after a while youll notice a total flip flop on what fox news agenda/character they will push on to the view

You liberals won the election yet you want one station buried. You have all the major networks on you side. I thought that liberal made a fool of himself by basically calling it a minor issue. They could have sent help from those rpg's, mortars, and AK's but those requests were denied. They had Troops in a base a short air flight away. This story was broke by the liberal Huffington Post saying Fox was embarrassed, yet they are not biased for the democrats? I really hope you get the government that Obama wants to gives you.

No one blamed what happened in Iraq over a video. That was the first thing that came flying out the mouths of Obama's cronies. It couldn't possibly be a terrorist attack (especially an Al-Qaeda one), because Obama got Bin Laden.
Of course, during Bush's presidency, if someone stubbed his toe in Iraq, we knew about it within hours, because Iraq was the bad war

Yes in part it is entertainment but there is also a clear agenda behind it. They are advocating for a very specific group and need to remain politically consistent in order to maintain their audience. When Fox brings a person with an alternative perspective or opinion on the air it is for the express purpose of ridiculing them.

So Tom Ricks is saying that security contractors in Iraq were in firefights for 8 hours while the WH watched in real time and did absolutely nothing to help and actually told a rescue team to stand down all the while blaming attacks on the contractors as a retalliation for a video for close to two weeks after.
