Title: which pullup bar is better? straight or with a slight bend?

i'd suggest that each hand position has minor benefits in terms of comfort but that a pull up is a pull up

well mine has bent positions and in the middle parallel close grip bars( you can also just put a v-grip handle over a straight bar)

mine is like that too... has 4 hand positions

I prefer the straight bar, I find the angled bar puts a lot of stress on the shoulder joints.
