Title: World At War
Post by: Irongrip400 on December 13, 2012, 05:19:36 PM
It's a BBC series from the 70's about World War Two. I have seen a few different DVDs on the internet, but there are some differences. Some have more volumes than others. Anyone own these, and have some insight as to which to buy?

Bump before it goes to the next page and is lost forever. C'mon, none of you proud britts on here can point me in the right direction? It was one of the most acclaimed BBC program of the 70's.

I have this on vhs...26 episodes and an extra one with Hitler's secretary...the dvd editions have extras such as, "the making of world at war'", the restoratipon of 'world at war'" and the like...most any of the dvd editions will be good...It is interesting because as they made it during the early 1970's on 16mm, many of the principal participants were still alive, such as Albert Speer, admiral Karl Dönitz, and others.

It's also interesting that they made this series before they released the details about Enigma.
