Hopefully he goes out on top.  He will go down as the best MLB to ever play.

Don't buy it for a second. I think he's doing it more to pump up his teammates in hopes of making a deep playoff run.

Until he files the retirement papers with the league.....then we'll see. But my money is Ray Lewis coming back for an 18th season( :o) NFL season.

Speaking of defense.....The Bengals are going to give your boys all they can handle on Saturday. They're hot. You're not.

how is this going to "motivate" the ravens?

is ray going to do a new pregame dance?  is he going to give a pregame speech for the 164843245th time?

It would motivate his teammates to play at their fullest potential, in my opinion. The Ravens are Ray's team. Always has been. They'll want to play balls out to help him try to win a ring one last time. He's quite possibly the greatest leader of men in NFL history.

that motivation stuff is overblown, it all comes down to just executing better than the other team

i expect the ravens to win no matter how "motivated" they are

and yeah ray probably is the best leader in nfl history, some people just have a certain way of influencing and getting others to follow them

he even influenced the nfl enough to get them to basically make him the face of the league, despite knowing how two men were murdered and nobody being punished for it

Sounds like you're giving him a little bit of credit for once

No doubt, I still think we get the win though and I think we stand a good chance at Denver too

Good luck with Brady and gronk if you get passed the colts
