You know something, there was a point where the Arnold was closing the gap fast on the Olympia, In fact 1 year the first place went home with more prize and cash combined then the first place Olympia winner.

But now it is gone and watered down severely since Branch's first win.

kai isn't beating phil anytime soon, so he's a fool for not picking up an easy 150k.  isn't he pushing 40?

::) GTFO, he had him beat during prejudging, he lost a little during the night show and Phil made that up... ::)
If there's one guy that'll outwork Phil, it's Kai. Kai is better than Phil. Kai will win the 2013 Mr. O.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, weakest Arnold Classic line up in 25 years. On the 25th anniversary of the show. I'm sure Lormier is thrilled about the line up.

I agree with Kai looking better at prejudging and slipping at night but either way Phil has an insane 3 D look to him, I mean I did not realize this before but he looked the same size as Kai (volume wise) despite the fact that Kai out weighed him by over 20 lb and that to me is what I think bodybuilding is about "looking fucken huge at a light weight" so Phil is playing it right and this year he is not slipping at all after being pushed as hard as Kai pushed him. From an odds on perspective the safest bet is Phil hands down.

Agreed. Phil came in a little off & left the door open. I don't think he'll let that happen again.

Johnnie Jackson Looking to Take 2013 Arnold Classic

In my 2012 Mr Olympia Review, I claimed Johnnie O. Jackson to be the most improved of the entire lineup. Jackson added crazy mass to his shoulders and legs, came in well defined and conditioned. Personally, I think Jackson should have placed higher in the Olympia line-up. Yes, Jackson looked that good.

Still, Johnnie O has yet to beat Dexter Jackson when they've gone head to head. However he has bested  Toney Freeman and Ben Pakulski in past competitions. Another factor is he has yet to compete against and Cedric McMillan.

If Johnnie O can come in like he did at the 2012 British Grand Prix, he can potentially be vying for the top3 spot at the 2013 Arnold Classic.

(In this Training Video, Johnnie Jackson is taking us through a Shoulder Video Workout with Branch Warren in preparation for the 2012 Mr Olympia)

More on Johnnie O. Jackson from Wikipedia:

Johnnie Otis Jackson (born January 30, 1971 in Hammonton, New Jersey) is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder and powerlifter. Jackson is sometimes referred to as the World's Strongest Bodybuilder.

Jackson first competed in an NPC (National Physique Committee) in 2001, where he won the NPC USA. His first IFBB competition was the GNC Show of Strength (now defunct) of 2002, where he placed 10th. His first IFBB Night of Champions was in 2003, where he placed 5th. Later that same year he competed in the Ironman Pro Invitational, where he placed 9th.

In 2003 he competed in his first Mr. Olympia, where he placed 11th. His first Arnold Classic was in 2006, where he placed 13th. Jackson regularly competes in powerlifting events and often incorporates this type of training into his workouts. Jackson lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and trains at Metroflex Gym in Arlington, Texas, with training partner Branch Warren.

In 2009 Jackson defeated his closest rival Ben White to earn the title "Mr. Olympia 2009 World's Strongest Professional Bodybuilder" by benching 523 lbs in an old polyester blast bench shirt and deadlifting 815 lbs in a deadlift suit for a 1,338 lb push/pull total. This record has been surpasses in 2010 by Jackson's successor as the "World's Strongest Bodybuilder" Stan Efferding.

No. The real problem is the issue of making the IFBB pros commit to doing the show (not just this show but all shows) remember this is an invitational.

As for Cedric is concerned, that pic shows improvements, should be a solid second behind Dex, Toney or Ben for third and forth.
