Post by: WOOO on January 21, 2013, 07:03:20 AM
Watching this movie right now...

How do Americans feel about violating the Geneva conventions?

No other country really follows the rules, why should we be bound to them?  Torture, etc is a by product of war.  it happens, we just created the rules to make us feel better and claim that it dosn't happen, when we know it does, and always will be used.  People are pussies

I don't have a problem with them doing what they need to to get the job done.  I have a problem with it when it becomes official policy endorsed by the President.

This is something that's been used in every countries military/intelligence forever.

I don't like it, it should continue to be a crime.

I realize though, that once in a while it could be necessary and I don't personally have a problem with that as long as it isn't widespread, and it's unofficial.

I actually downloaded, skimmed through this trash piece of fiction and deleted it immediately.

Lets see. It makes gruesome torture OKAY. It tells a fairy tale of american bs.

Any surprises that Americans live in fantasies? No.

Then again look at 'real news' reporting:

Americans are still pretty dumb and fall for shit. /thread

Remember them WMDs, weapons of mass destruction.. ha ha ha ha.. yea... 2 million dead people later. You sick nation.

America has made medieval style torture, lying, deceit, assassinations, etc.. the norm.

They killed a Muslim. They're ok by me.

Cheers for that fellas. You have my full support for the target practice you're doing over there in the Middle Eastern sand pits.

The best part of that video is @7:00 in...  I have the entire CNN broadcast of the war on several volumes of VHS tape and there's a lot of other silly shit they did but that moment where they fake being gased was the best lol.  It was so poorly done lmao.

The Hurt Locker was terribly boring so why would I expect this to be any different?
