Rubio is insisting that border security is a MUST, for him to support this "comprehensive immigration reform". Rush is reminding him of the 1986 amnesty thing Reagan did, where the border security aspect NEVER came to fruition.
Rubio further talks about the challenges of the GOP selling their limited government message vs. the Dems' big government agenda, comparing it with broccoli and cotton candy, respectively.
He says cotton candy is easier to sell but broccoli is better for you.

If that is the case, there won't be immigration reform because Dems are not serious about securing the border.

He doesnt respect them at all. Treats them like stupid children with little knowledge.
He is forgetting that the GOP voters is getting smarter more informed, making it harder to sell his lies.

This is little more than an attempt to move towards the Left so that the GOP can win votes, especially in '16. There's a clip of Michael Savage on YT slamming that whore Sean Hannity for pimping the same talking points. Atrocious.
