Well I'd geek out and go see it.
I'm more a DC than Marvel fan, though.
The DC Universe Online trailer makes me geek out. Although, there's no way the flash gets killed the way he does, but whatever...
But they'd need a killer villain to do battle against. Doomsday would seem most appropriate, under the control of Brainiac! But I think they're saving Doomsday for one of the next installments of the Man of Steel series, similar to how the ended the Batman/Knight trilogy.

They've already said that making a Justice League movie woiuld cost so much more than the Avengers because DC's heroes require a lot more special effects....because they all have such unique and awesome powers the movie would cost $300 million to make..just looking at the trailer, if you had to re-create all the powers we saw in just that small snippet we saw, you can see how it would cost a fortune for the whole movie

Also, the Green Lantern story was just terrible.
They should have stuck to the Emerald Dawn storyline for the first movie and used someone much much better than Ryan Reynolds.

Perhaps a Flash... Although I like Sean William Scott as Flash so much more.
He seems to have the right hyperactive requirement to be the Wally West Flash.

I think the problem was that nobody knew who green lantern was outside of comic geeks...so they had to use a guy who would also get FEMALES into the theater as well or else the movie could not make its money back on just the geeks

To me the green lantern character sucks. He has zero depth, a full length movie is too much time to drag out his story. The same goes for the Hulk, which explains why all of the hulk movies have bombed.
I would like to see a full length movie about Galactus, but I know that it won't happen.

As I was reading your post I instantly thought of both emerald dawn's before you mentioned them :)
No one has really touched on how interesting he can be since those stories imo. In the years following he started to be unique as an old vet type character but they ruined that too by de-aging and making him a generic character.
