even tho im now a big fan of american handeggball, im going to spell it out why football is the most challenging and hardest team sport there is....
i can here you saying 'why' 'wtf' 'whats this dude thinking'etc etc, but i'll lay it down for you in black n white...
its the only sport where you use your feet, instead of your hands.. and there it is, no arguments!
-
I'd say hockey.
-
I mean sure you use your hands but the stick is used to maneuver a little puck into a net. Also said stick can be used as a weapon...gotta be able to hit and take hits...fighting is allowed and encouraged...and it's very physically demanding cardio wise.
-
Oh yeah and it's on ice using skates ffs. If there was ever a true sport for men hockey is it. Funny how people call soccer gay when football its all about putting your hands under a guys asshole, huddling around in a circle and tackling a bunch of other guys to the ground lol. Equally gay

Yes, ice hockey takes brain and body.
That's why we are the best in it 8)

Some good tough Russian players but Canadians play with class.

its still using your hands blud.... using your feet precisely to kick and control a ball is unnatural, therefore harder and more technical.....

Sure but in hockey you're on ice using knives as shoes. You've been walking on your feet ever since you were months old I don't see the big deal in that. Way more players, way bigger goal, no hits allowed...

Finland, Rossiya, Canada = Ice hockey 8)

A good theory. Also accounts for how nothing ever happens and why 3-2 is a high action match.
-
nah,,, ice scate players have been scating as long as they were walking too

as opposed to netball basket ball games where the games end 80-70, all those endless points are pretty boring and end up meaningless
a 3-2 game will be full of action, stadiums will shake at the scoring of each of those goals
-
I donno 90 minute games are brutal, and it's hard to compare any other sport to that.
Also soccer is brutally hard on your knee's and ankles and shit as your always trying to control your body movements.
although hockey is extreme, it's not the skating or the stick handling that gets you the skill, it's the constant need to know where the opponent is, there' s a real boxing component to the sport.
Fact is unlike soccer(where there is just too much talent for shit to be interesting), there really isn't enough in hockey, to really see what the games about.
-
Football is just an excuse to escape her indoors for a few hours and stumble back again. As a cultural thing, it works tho.
I was always the guy shooting the reds & yellows. Badly.

Hockey has the right pace, you want a goal every 10-15 minutes of play.
Soccer is brutal for this, but we all know it's an issue with fifa, not soccer itself.
I think its hard to appreciate how shitty of an organization they are. They alone are the reason soccer isn't popular in north america.

im not following you, how would you change how its run....out of curiosity ??

Ahh and the chzecks sp? ...also some good hockey there
nah,,, ice scate players have been scating as long as they were walking too
Skating on ice and having to deal with oncoming hits and maneuvering around is much more difficult than passing and kicking a big round ball into a net on grass.

sorry bud, i'll have to agree to disagree with you there... no team sport comes close to football in terms of skill and i still stand by that..

I like soccer too don't get me wrong...but having played both I can say hockey can't be matched going by the characteristics you mentioned.

I’m not a big hockey fan. But I respect how talented you have to be to play hockey. Soccer? That’s a whole other ball. Can’t stand soccer. It’s the least-talented sport on Earth. There’s a reason three-year-olds can play soccer. When you’re playing a game when the net is that big and the score is 3-1 (and that’s a blowout) are you kidding me?

Allow for multi national leagues, that are active in more than one country.
Allow for 3 changeovers during each half, and allow a full team changeover after the first 45.
I'd also tweak the netsize, and or the position of the goalie, until your averaging 5 goals per game.
Possibly also allow a smaller field with lesser players.

yes, that would indeed spoil the beautiful game... couldnt think of anything worse than any of your suggestions

if its so easy to score in those big goals, why do the games end 3-1??
the entire world ( except north america ) cant all be wrong

My point is you could tweak the game that we already have. Keep the basics just push the goal count to 5 pergame(without relying on penalty kicks)
If you think the game average less than one goal a game(without penalty kicks) isn't an issue your fucking nuts.

Americans cream their pants when they see a one hand catch ::) .
Try a one foot catch while running full speed , BTW check the precise (foot) pass from the quarterback

i played both soccer and tennis on competitive level, and i think tennis is harder.
physically and mentaly.
You are too small to play any sport ,I hope this helps.

Simply the best .
his strength, pace and power on the ball was incredible and he played at a time when the opposition kicked lumps out of him as well. the best player of all time, i never get tired of watching footage of maradona
