Arnold classic 25th will be something to remember if. ....Mike Ashley, Arnold Classic winner 1991, gives the tittle back to Shawn Ray.

Of course I can't find that article anywhere now, but I am 99% sure I read that he admired to low doses... Anyone else read that? It was in musclemag or ironman mag around 10 years ago

That's because Shawn failed the test with the results not coming back, until after the show. It's that simple. Shawn doesn't get the title back. Ashley didn't, bottom line. Whether you think he cheated to beat the test or not is conjecture, at this point.
Even if Ashley were cheating and got caught, it still doesn't absolve Shawn Ray of his actions (as far as this show was concerned). Shawn Ray had no (and, to this day, still has no) beef with Mike Ashley. Why should you?
BTW - Ray actually did win the ASC in 1991; Ashley won it in 1990.
All this proves is that the promoters should make sure the test results come BEFORE the show ends. A similar thing happened again at the 1996 AAU Mr. America.
Charles Durr won the AAU Mr. America on stage. But, that show was tested too, with the results coming afterwards.
Once the test results were known, Durr got popped and was disqualified. Tall-class winner, Doug Reiser, ended being officially the 1996 AAU Mr. America.

Man, I swear I read it in one of them, my wife through them all away. Maybe he didn't admit it, but it was a whole story about how small mike Ashley was when not competing, then bam, put on 30-40 pounds... It went on to say he did low doses... I just remember reading that, either musclemag or ironman. They had pics of him looking 180 lbs then supersized at 220.
Why would I be making this up??? Someone has to have this article

That's not what happened. Armstrong got popped because the cycling federation got a more sophisticated test. They tested his blood and he got caught. Armstrong was banned for LIFE. And with his sponsors either bailing or suing, he needs the money.
That's why he bared his soul to Oprah.
As for Ashley, I'm still awaiting this MuscleMag/IronMan article, where Ashley supposedly admitted to taking low doses of anabolics.

Regardless of whether "anyone could have 'failed'", Shawn Ray (along with former O, Samir Bannout, and two others) DID FAIL. Thus Ray got DQed and Ashley is the 1990 champion, period.
Whining about what Ashley supposedly did or didn't do makes no difference.
I'd still like to see this alleged confession of Ashley in print that he was taking low dosage of steroids.

Anyone that knew him closely, knows that. He was the most strict person about his diet and his training consistently. Maybe hard for some of you to believe because he was that good. Trust me, Paul Jean was as natural as they come. Great physique. Looked the same all year long. Could step on stage at any moment. Also a great guy. (Shawn won that show) Mike = Fraud.

Armstrong failed 4 tests during the 1999 TDF the UCI accepted it was from a cream.

Saw Paul Jean training at the San Diego World's Gym a few times in the mid-2000's. Hard trainer. Still had those large peaked bi's. He was squatting 405 for sets of 10. Nice guy too.
