Any politician who would say "oh goodness, I was oh so offended by the use of such a gesture, I demand an apology for all who were wronged.." doesn't have the backbone to face the real problems of the world. Rebel uprisings, leaders blowing up people in streets, nations invaded for resources, etc...

Any person offended by this doesn't have the toughness to be a leader.
