Anyone see this new video out showing the defeat of US army? What is it going to take to wipe these fuckers off the face of the earth? Shit, the Middle East doesn't have this much rhetoric coming out of it, yet we are all up in that ass. Are we afraid of china and Russia?

North Korea would be wiped out militarily in a matter of days, if not hours...
Nothing left of power plants, electrical installations, army barracks, naval yards, fuel storage tanks, bridges, etc....etc...
-
they shoulda spliced in some Independance Day shots of the white house. that video was beyond cheap
-
nothing will be done unless they make the first move and its not just as simple as nuke them

that would be a stupid mistake to attach them.there are other ways to deal with them.we are in their striking distance and they actually have weapons of mass destruction.look like they will not hesitate for a sec to shoot back and in extreme danger who knows they might hit first.they are small and venerable.thats dangerous.
-
No one there can even dunk a basketball, we would take them out in a day.
-
The fact anyone believes this is just not some org trying to instigate a war is sad. The US so fucking badly needs another war before defense budgets come. Another war means more billions to the defense contractors.
Fact is the US has about 25K or more troops in South Korea.

I guess you don't remember the Korean war against the north. They have a real army, airforce and navy. We could wipe out Iraq's army quickly because they didn't have any real air support. Korea has a lot of military power. The general agreement is that they can knock out the city of Seoul in one day with conventional arms.

^^
IF they sent a nuke somewhere or launched a full-scale invasion of the south, they would face unbelievable retaliation- I wouldn't want to be there!
P.S. I am a Veteran, by the way- I know what we are capable of. Korean war 1950-53 was a "limited war", as we felt Russia/China would get involved (China did). With a General with BALLS we could obliterate them.

North Korea could defeat us---in making bad attempts in trying to sound lame.
Like James Brown said, "Talking Loud, and ain't saying nothing."

in what???
a Hot Dog Eating contest ???

Same thing with Vietnam. If they would have let the dog off the chain we would have destroyed them . North Korea has been Saber Rattling for 50 years, our govt laughs at them.

North korea doesnt have any oil or other valuables so why would us want to attack them it will only cost money and they cant steal anyrhing from nk like they are doing with iraqs oil

DING, DING, MUTHERFUCKING DING!
They already have a huge base in SK so they don't need to attacke MK for strategy. There is nothing to gain going in. It would be one of those bs coallition wars.
I do wonder if there are any hot sluts in NK.
-
I know I'm gonna get laughed out of this thread for this comment, but does no one remember Adolph Hitler? A dude who was leader of a nation bankrupted by a lost war, supposed to have no standing army, and sanctioned to hell? If at any point up to the Anschluss of Austria, someone would've checked him, war could've been averted. Whose to say these guys aren't doing major clandestine military maneuvers in China, and building an army capable of at least causing major damage in that part of the world. Is it because the are little people with squinty eyes and stupid propaganda videos? Shit, we need to roll the fuck over there and shut them up before they can muster strength to do anything stupid.

We will kill these mofo's in a minute.

china does not want this war to happen

America should merck these little gooks.

North Koreans believe their president is divine, above all human existence. Total mass schizophrenia.
That being said, i have no problem believing that they think they have some chance against the USA. ::)

incorrect, it would not work like that as china and russia have their back, it would be a bargaining game and retaliation would only be done with a strategic invasion not nukes and even then only if china and russia agree...... usa vs norks, china and russia = usa loss
the usa is in decline thanks to generation nothingness

ROTFLOL. Did they get a rocket in flight before it exploded this week, or did another one explode on the launchpad again? :D
The only thing those idiot dinks could beat the U.S. in is a dog-eating contest. If they didn't neighbor who they did, I'd give them a 20 megaton warhead POW, right in the kisser.

We might lose, but only on foreign soil. The United States would crush any invading force.

The existence of North Korea is in China's best interests as it serves as a buffer-state between South Korea which has a US military presence.
There is no way China wants US forces and missiles on their border.
Another factor is that South Korea does not want them to collapse either.
Joining up the with the North will massively damage their economy and they do not want over 20 million starving refugees who are barely familiar with modern technology. Who's going to feed them, educate them and give them jobs?
The people in the South will have to pay for this.
They also fear a huge crime-wave from these millions of angry hungry people. Who were brought up to hate them of which almost all have military training and who knows how many weapons etc. would be unaccounted for?
It is different to German Re-Unification as the DDR was despite being poorer than West Germany was still very developed, people had jobs, good schooling, housing, food etc. and was also about a third the size of total Germany instead of half like Korea.

25K troops is nothing.....as a matte of fact, if the North invaded the south those troops would be massacred quickly....they are simply there to make sure that the U.S. will respond...no american president will ignore the death of so many troops..he would be forced to respond with a devastating blow

The government of my home country, South Africa is officially an ally of North Korea.
"it must never come as a surprise to antagonists and ill-informed critics when they question the relationship the democratic South Africa has with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Both RSA and (the) DPRK share fundamental values of revolutionary principles for liberation, people's welfare and sovereignty of people and country."
"let me re-affirm on behalf of our ANC-led Government, that South Africa continues to avail herself the opportunity to renew to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea the assurance of our highest consideration to cooperate and partner for the sake of all our peoples' livelihood and our countries' prosperity, respectively."
“We say so because, we know that the creation of the Korean Republic or South Korea is not the desired outcome of the people of Korea, but the creation of imperialism, hence its borders are still guarded by the US military,”
“We are certain that the working people of South Africa....who want free, compulsory and quality education, decent housing, shelter, health, clothing, nationalisation of mines and other key sectors of our economy are with you in your struggle to first unify your country and inspire the freedoms of all in the world under a just and equitable world order.”

People forget Allies and Interests.
It's not just NorthKorea but also China and Russia.
It's not like swooping down on Iraq grabbing their oil, we are talking powerhouses with nukes.
Something to take into consideration.
-
yes
If the North makes the push first it wouldn't be that easy, it's never that easy. I don't believe a conflict with the North would be long and protracted but they would get their licks in before they run out of fuel and spare parts.

oh I definitely agree with you on this..N. Korea would inflict devastating punishment on the south...especially if they strike first...but in the end, I really think the U.S. would then destroy that entire country...also the N. Korean soldiers may defect in droves....and I wonder how reliable their military hardware truly is....communist countries do not have a good record in terms of maintaining their equipment..and yes I think you are correct as well that they would run out of fuel pretty quickly...especially once the U.S. targets their fuel depots

A war with NK wouldn't be isolated. It would spawn wars everywhere. Israel would probably decide to attack Iran and Syrian since the spotlight would be off of them. Who knows what allies NK has. Someone is blowing smoke up KJI's ass telling them they have their back.
Honestly. What the fuck did Rodman tell him?

Defectors claim they have grain and fuel supplies for at most three months war.
Their tactics are aimed to be as hard hitting as possible to grab hold of the South before the US troops arrive.
They have a network of tunnels that go under the DMZ were thousands of troops could stream over, as well as submarines with special-forces suicide troops who would land across the shores.
They also have agents in the South trained in terrorism and sabotage.
All their artillery is aimed at Seoul and this includes gas shells, so if there is a war, the city would be wiped out.
Of course, one on one with the US, after doing damage they will be destroyed.
BUT their hope/strategy is that they will have taken control of the South quickly, before the Americans come, and they can then negotiate with backing from China/Russia and everyone else against America.
And of course there is no way Russia or China will allow a nuke to go off near their borders!!!!
-
Let them host the Olympic Games! Tell them that the other nations will pay for all the preparations and building it. This might change their heart about the rest of the world and snap out of hostile communism.

Exactly. It's a refurbished older carrier from Russia (or India, can't quite remember.) and it's still undergoing see trials and integration. It would last all of 60min if the Chinese were crazy enough to deploy it.
And total troop numbers are kind of meaningless. Logistics, transportation etc. would limit the amount the Chinese could bring to bear in a conflict such as this.

They, and the Russians have airbases nearby and I'm sure their nuclear submarines would not be far off either.
Of course, it depends on whether they would back the North Koreans anyway.
Chinese 'peace keeping' troops could also immediately swarm across the borders.

"(CNN) -- North Korea's leader has signed off on a plan to prepare rockets to be on standby for firing at U.S. targets, including the U.S. mainland and military bases in the Pacific and in South Korea, state media reported.
In a meeting with military leaders early Friday, Kim Jung Un "said he has judged the time has come to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists in view of the prevailing situation," the state-run KCNA news agency reported.
"If they make a reckless provocation with huge strategic forces, the KPA should mercilessly strike the U.S. mainland, their stronghold, their military bases in the operational theaters in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and those in South Korea, he said," KCNA said.
The U.S. decision to fly B-2 spirit bombers over South Korea in military exercises was "an ultimatum that they will ignite a nuclear war at any cost on the Korean Peninsula," the North Korean state news agency said."

North Korea’s Stealth-Free Response to B-2 Runs
The announcement that two B-2 stealth bombers made test runs over South Korea on Thursday clearly triggered alarm in North Korea, where dictator Kim Jong Eun chaired a late-night meeting of military top brass to discuss the U.S. show of force, according to state media.
There Mr. Kim signed off on a plan to strike at U.S. bases in the Pacific, South Korea and the U.S. mainland, the report said, and declared that the “time has come to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists.” As Pyongyang did in announcing earlier that it has those targets lined up, it inserted a conditional clause: It will hit back if the U.S. makes ”a reckless provocation with huge strategic forces.”
To ensure that the message that it’s really very serious about hitting the U.S. gets out, North Korea also released a couple of photos of the meeting that show a map titled “U.S. Mainland Strike Plan” and what are presumably projected flight paths for missiles to Hawaii and the U.S. mainland. (It may take a few more years for North Korea to develop missiles that can actually complete the projected routes.)
The website nknews.org has a good analysis of the map and also notes that the picture in which it appears was carried by the North’s biggest newspaper, the Rodong Sinmun, suggesting it is intended to persuade a domestic audience that the regime has a plan for striking the U.S.
The meeting reportedly started after midnight, which suggests state media worked through the night to get its coverage out—a demonstration of how the North Korean propaganda operation has upped its game in recent years. News of major events now often comes the same day, rather than a day later as used to be the case.
The Korean-language report was published at 4:43 a.m. local time, with the English-language version (headlined “Kim Jong Un Convenes Operation Meeting, Finally Examines and Ratifies Plan for Firepower Strike”) following at 6:50.
North Korea watcher Michael Madden, who runs the blog North Korea Leadership Watch, says the increased speed of the media is one of the major changes he’s noticed since Kim Jong Eun took power.
“Kim Jong Eun has people under him who have studied abroad and that makes a difference,” he said. “There’s a faster response time in North Korean media to events and news in South Korea and elsewhere.”
South Korea media reported increased activity at North Korean missile sites on Friday, including vehicles moving to the Tongchang-ri base on the western coast, where North Korea launched its long-range rocket from in December. The Defense Ministry in Seoul said it couldn’t confirm the reports.
Meanwhile in central Pyongyang, the Associated Press reported, there was a staple of North Korean staged seething: a rally of thousands of people, with timeless chants including “Death to the U.S. imperialists.”

In terms of actual force to take the South I think they could do it.
This of course excludes a preemptive strike from the US and whether China and Russia will back the North if they have occupied the South.
As I mentioned earlier, imagine if the Chinese then flood Korea with 'peace keeping' troops, then any American air strikes could kill Chinese troops as well.
There is no way the Chinese would want to have Americans on their borders even if the North falls and Americans have to occupy the country. This would mean American forces and their allies are then literally on their borders.
