where's the best place in europe for a summer holiday?
i've been to most countries in europe except for scandinavia and the east (belarus, estonia, ukraine, etc) but i'd like to hear your fellas ideas/experiences while visiting the north or east of europe

Depends on what you are looking for.
- Cheap alcohol and hot women: Prague.
- Expensive alcohol and hot women: French Riviera or Ibiza*
- Expensive alcohol and beautiful nature: most of Skandinavia (going on a nature hike in Sweden myself end of the month)
- Cheap alcohol and ugly women: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Ireland
*Depends on where you stay, and how much you're willing to spend

I'm off to Sweden in July for a month, want to also hit up a few other countries in the schengen zone. Would love to hear what fellow GBers would recommend.

Hmmm... I live in NL, close to the Belgian border, have many friends and colleagues from the UK and Ireland, and often work in Germany. ;D

Poland. To be more specific, the city of Krakow. I have travelled a lot in eastern europe and most of the people are not especially friendly. The Polish people are a huge exception. They are very friendly and nice. Also, Poland has a lot of cool things to see including a lot of historical things. I highly recommend going to Poland.

In summer - it depends on if the weather is going to be a motivating factor for you.
if you want some sun, I'd aim for Croatia. Hot women, cheap, lots to look at, good food - not a lot of English speaking tourists.
If you don't care about having hot days every day, Scandinavia is beautiful, and the women are hot and friendly. And hot.
London in summer fills up with people terribly. I imagine Paris would too, but I've not been there in July-August.

I live at 10km from Paris, because it's the french capital you have access to museum and expo but that don't make it "the cultural center of the world".

The best place is not the north nor east... in my mind it's around the mediterranean sea, like greece or spain. or southern france. because people from the north go south for the sun and that is where the mindset is the most pleasant.
Haven't been much to the east, but I spent a night in Riga, Latvia. It's was a nice stop. And next week I am going to Tallin, capital of Estonia. I hear it's nice but can give the lowdown later.

I've never dated with religious women, so I can't speak from experience, but I believe that the impact of a certain religion is becoming less and less in most countries, other than third world/Muslim countries. These days, people get in touch with all kinds of ideas/influences. I believe this is a very good thing.

But I admit it has its nice places, you just need a few days to look for them. And even then they'll be over run by fat, ignorant tourists.
OP, if you want to go somewhere nice, ignore the major tourist hubs and blaze some trail. Smaller towns in Scandinavia, Switzerland and Greece would do you well. Don't come to the UK, there's really fuck all here. Do London if you must and get out. Eastern Europe is all right but you can't trust anyone. It's in their blood to rip you off.
Scandinavia. You'll spend your children's inheritance but it's really nice. You can't go wrong there.

I've lived/studied in Norway and spend tons of time in Sweden. Norwegians girls are hot, Swedes are ok, you have your nice ones. Danish broads are notorious in Scandinavia for putting it about.

I don't think the Polish girls WANT to live with their mothers, finances force them. But yes, they are very family orientated but like anyone, they still want their own space. In Eastern Europe renting isn't very big. Maybe now in the major cities but in smaller towns and villages, people still build their houses themselves.

Yeah, I know about the strong influence of catholicism in Poland (I've been there 3 times). In general, Dutch women are very independent/individualistic, but that isn't specific for our culture, you see this phenom almost everywhere. I believe it's rather a "tradition -> religion -> nurture" thing

Don't count out their famous "Chicken Piri Piri". Georgous and dirt cheap. Cafe culture, slow pace. Sweet tooth (lots of mouth watering cakes such as the pastel de nata (custard tart)
Beautiful beaches and reliable sun.
I've spent months in Portugal. Women there really do store fat very well. A lot of Thick thighs and asses. Tanned olive skin. Coming back to the UK i'm always horrified by the quality of native British women.
The only downside is the language. A nightmare to learn and very different from Brazilian Portuguese. Also don't expect everything to run on time :p
Also the movie theaters play all their movies in English with Portuguese Subs. There is no dubbing.

venice is nice but i would say only with good weather, stay away from milan (it's just a common big city), go to Florence if you love museums and similar, Pisa is basically the poor version of Florence.

so in the high class resturants how many course meals do they typically serve? i know that in france it can be up to 7 courses

the very north of italy is the most developed and industrial part but also the less nice (except for the lakes which anyway I don't like).
I live here so I know.
In these high class restaurant you can basically eat whatever you want and as many courses as you can need for your anabolic window ;D
